Luke 6:35: ^CA sweþauh frijod þans fijands izwarans, þiuþ taujaid jah leihvaid ni waihtais uswenans, jah wairþiþ mizdo izwara managa, jah wairþiþ sunjus hauhistins, unte is gods ist þaim unfagram jah unseljam.; — πλὴν ἀγαπᾶτε τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν καὶ ἀγαθοποιεῖτε καὶ δανίζετε μηδὲν ἀπελπίζοντες: καὶ ἔσται ὁ μισθὸς ὑμῶν πολύς, καὶ ἔσεσθε υἱοὶ ὑψίστου, ὅτι αὐτὸς χρηστός ἐστιν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀχαρίστους καὶ πονηρούς.; — But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Luke 6:40: ^CA nist siponeis ufar laisari seinana; iþ gamanwids hvarjizuh wairþai swe laisaris is.; — οὐκ ἔστιν μαθητὴς ὑπὲρ τὸν διδάσκαλον, κατηρτισμένος δὲ πᾶς ἔσται ὡς ὁ διδάσκαλος αὐτοῦ.; — The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
Luke 6:44: ^CA hvarjizuh raihtis bagme us swesamma akrana uskunþs ist; ni auk us þaurnum lisand[a] smakkans, nih þan us aihvatundjai trudand[a] weinabasja.; — ἕκαστον γὰρ δένδρον ἐκ τοῦ ἰδίου καρποῦ γινώσκεται: οὐ γὰρ ἐξ ἀκανθῶν συλλέγουσιν σῦκα, οὐδὲ ἐκ βάτου σταφυλὴν τρυγῶσιν.; — For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
Luke 7:2: ^CA hundafade þan sumis skalks siukands swultawairþja <was>, saei was imma swers.; — ἑκατοντάρχου δέ τινος δοῦλος κακῶς ἔχων ἤμελλεν τελευτᾶν, ὃς ἦν αὐτῷ ἔντιμος.; — And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.
Luke 8:17: ^CA ni auk ist analaugn, þatei swikunþ ni wairþai, nih fulgin, þatei ni gakunnaidau jah in swekunþamma qimai.; — οὐ γάρ ἐστιν κρυπτὸν ὃ οὐ φανερὸν γενήσεται, οὐδὲ ἀπόκρυφον ὃ οὐ μὴ γνωσθῇ καὶ εἰς φανερὸν ἔλθῃ.; — For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
Luke 8:23: ^CA þaruh þan swe faridedun, anasaislep; jah atiddja skura windis in þana marisaiw, jah gafullnodedun jah birekjai waurþun.; — πλεόντων δὲ αὐτῶν ἀφύπνωσεν. καὶ κατέβη λαῖλαψ ἀνέμου εἰς τὴν λίμνην, καὶ συνεπληροῦντο καὶ ἐκινδύνευον.; — But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.
Luke 8:32: ^CA wasuþ~þan jainar hairda sweine managaize haldanaize in þamma fairgunja; jah bedun ina ei uslaubidedi im in þo galeiþan. jah uslaubida im.; — ἦν δὲ ἐκεῖ ἀγέλη χοίρων ἱκανῶν βοσκομένη ἐν τῷ ὄρει: καὶ παρεκάλεσαν αὐτὸν ἵνα ἐπιτρέψῃ αὐτοῖς εἰς ἐκείνους εἰσελθεῖν: καὶ ἐπέτρεψεν αὐτοῖς.; — And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
Luke 8:33: ^CA usgaggandans þan suns þai unhulþans af þamma mann galiþun in þo sweina, jah rann sa wriþus and driuson in þana marisaiw jah afhvapnodedun.; — ἐξελθόντα δὲ τὰ δαιμόνια ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰσῆλθον εἰς τοὺς χοίρους, καὶ ὥρμησεν ἡ ἀγέλη κατὰ τοῦ κρημνοῦ εἰς τὴν λίμνην καὶ ἀπεπνίγη.; — Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
Luke 8:42: ^CA unte dauhtar ainoho was imma swe wintriwe twalibe, jah so swalt. miþþanei þan iddja is, manageins þraihun ina.; — ὅτι θυγάτηρ μονογενὴς ἦν αὐτῷ ὡς ἐτῶν δώδεκα καὶ αὐτὴ ἀπέθνῃσκεν. ἐν δὲ τῷ ὑπάγειν αὐτὸν οἱ ὄχλοι συνέπνιγον αὐτόν.; — For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
Luke 9:5: ^CA jah swa managai swe ni andnimaina izwis, usgaggandans us þizai baurg jainai jah mulda af fotum izwaraim afhrisjaiþ du weitwodiþai ana ins.; — καὶ ὅσοι ἂν μὴ δέχωνται ὑμᾶς, ἐξερχόμενοι ἀπὸ τῆς πόλεως ἐκείνης τὸν κονιορτὸν ἀπὸ τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἀποτινάσσετε εἰς μαρτύριον ἐπ' αὐτούς.; — And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
Luke 9:10: ^CA jah gawandjandans sik apaustauleis usspillodedun imma, swa filu swe gatawidedun. jah andnimands ins afiddja sundro ana staþ auþjana baurgs namnidaizos Baidsaiïdan.; — καὶ ὑποστρέψαντες οἱ ἀπόστολοι διηγήσαντο αὐτῷ ὅσα ἐποίησαν. καὶ παραλαβὼν αὐτοὺς ὑπεχώρησεν κατ' ἰδίαν εἰς πόλιν καλουμένην βηθσαϊδά.; — And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.
Luke 9:14: ^CA wesun auk swe fimf þusundjos waire. qaþ þan du siponjam seinaim: gawaurkeiþ im anakumbjan kubituns, ana hvarjanoh fimf tiguns.; — ἦσαν γὰρ ὡσεὶ ἄνδρες πεντακισχίλιοι. εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ, κατακλίνατε αὐτοὺς κλισίας [ὡσεὶ] ἀνὰ πεντήκοντα.; — For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.
Luke 9:28: ^CA waurþun þan afar þo waurda swe dagos ahtau, ganimands Paitru jah Iakobu jah Iohannen usiddja in fairguni bidjan.; — ἐγένετο δὲ μετὰ τοὺς λόγους τούτους ὡσεὶ ἡμέραι ὀκτὼ [καὶ] παραλαβὼν πέτρον καὶ ἰωάννην καὶ ἰάκωβον ἀνέβη εἰς τὸ ὄρος προσεύξασθαι.; — And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
Luke 9:52: ^CA jah insandida airuns faura sis, jah gaggandans galiþun in haim Samareite, swe manwjan imma.; — καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ἀγγέλους πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ. καὶ πορευθέντες εἰσῆλθον εἰς κώμην σαμαριτῶν, ὡς ἑτοιμάσαι αὐτῷ:; — And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
Luke 9:54: ^CA gasaihvandans þan siponjos is Iakobus jah Iohannes qeþun: frauja, wileizu ei qiþaima, fon atgaggai us himina jah fraqimai im, swe jah Heleias gatawida?; — ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ μαθηταὶ ἰάκωβος καὶ ἰωάννης εἶπαν, κύριε, θέλεις εἴπωμεν πῦρ καταβῆναι ἀπὸ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἀναλῶσαι αὐτούς;; — And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
Luke 10:3: ^CA gaggiþ, sai ik insandja izwis swe lamba in midumai wulfe.; — ὑπάγετε: ἰδοὺ ἀποστέλλω ὑμᾶς ὡς ἄρνας ἐν μέσῳ λύκων.; — Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
Luke 10:11: ^CA jah stubju þana gahaftnandan unsis us þizai baurg izwarai ana fotuns unsarans afhrisjam izwis; sweþauh þata witeiþ þatei atnehvida sik ana izwis þiudangardi gudis.; — καὶ τὸν κονιορτὸν τὸν κολληθέντα ἡμῖν ἐκ τῆς πόλεως ὑμῶν εἰς τοὺς πόδας ἀπομασσόμεθα ὑμῖν: πλὴν τοῦτο γινώσκετε ὅτι ἤγγικεν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ.; — Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Luke 10:14: ^CA sweþauh Twrai jah Seidonai sutizo wairþiþ in daga stauos þau izwis.; — πλὴν τύρῳ καὶ σιδῶνι ἀνεκτότερον ἔσται ἐν τῇ κρίσει ἢ ὑμῖν.; — But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
Luke 10:18: ^CA qaþ þan du im: gasahv Satanan swe lauhmunja driusandan us himina.; — εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς, ἐθεώρουν τὸν σατανᾶν ὡς ἀστραπὴν ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ πεσόντα.; — And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Luke 10:20: ^CA sweþauh þamma ni faginoþ, ei þai ahmans izwis ufhausjand: iþ faginod in þammei namna izwara gamelida sind in himinam.; — πλὴν ἐν τούτῳ μὴ χαίρετε ὅτι τὰ πνεύματα ὑμῖν ὑποτάσσεται, χαίρετε δὲ ὅτι τὰ ὀνόματα ὑμῶν ἐγγέγραπται ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.; — Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Jai, atta, unte swa warþ galeikaiþ in andwairþja þeinamma. jah gawandiþs du siponjam seinaim qaþ:; — ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ὥρᾳ ἠγαλλιάσατο [ἐν] τῷ πνεύματι τῷ ἁγίῳ καὶ εἶπεν, ἐξομολογοῦμαί σοι, πάτερ, κύριε τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅτι ἀπέκρυψας ταῦτα ἀπὸ σοφῶν καὶ συνετῶν, καὶ ἀπεκάλυψας αὐτὰ νηπίοις: ναί, ὁ πατήρ, ὅτι οὕτως εὐδοκία ἐγένετο ἔμπροσθέν σου.; — In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
Luke 10:27: ^CA iþ is andhafjands qaþ: frijos fraujan guþ þeinana us allamma hairtin þeinamma jah us allai saiwalai þeinai jah us allai mahtai þeinai jah us allai gahugdai þeinai, jah nehvundjan þeinana swe þuk silban.; — ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν, ἀγαπήσεις κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης [τῆς] καρδίας σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ ψυχῇ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ ἰσχύϊ σου καὶ ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ διανοίᾳ σου, καὶ τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν.; — And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Luke 14:22: ^CA jah qaþ sa skalks: frauja, warþ swe anabaust, jah nauh stads ist.; — καὶ εἶπεν ὁ δοῦλος, κύριε, γέγονεν ὃ ἐπέταξας, καὶ ἔτι τόπος ἐστίν.; — And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
Luke 15:12: ^CA jah qaþ sa juhiza ize du attin: atta, gif mis, sei undrinnai mik dail aiginis; jah disdailida im swes sein.; — καὶ εἶπεν ὁ νεώτερος αὐτῶν τῷ πατρί, πάτερ, δός μοι τὸ ἐπιβάλλον μέρος τῆς οὐσίας. ὁ δὲ διεῖλεν αὐτοῖς τὸν βίον.; — And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
Luke 15:13: ^CA jah afar ni managans dagans brahta samana allata sa juhiza sunus jah aflaiþ in land fairra wisando jah jainar distahida þata swes seinata libands usstiuriba.; — καὶ μετ' οὐ πολλὰς ἡμέρας συναγαγὼν πάντα ὁ νεώτερος υἱὸς ἀπεδήμησεν εἰς χώραν μακράν, καὶ ἐκεῖ διεσκόρπισεν τὴν οὐσίαν αὐτοῦ ζῶν ἀσώτως.; — And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
Luke 15:15: ^CA jah gaggands gahaftida sik sumamma baurgjane jainis gaujis, jah insandida ina haiþjos seinaizos haldan sweina.; — καὶ πορευθεὶς ἐκολλήθη ἑνὶ τῶν πολιτῶν τῆς χώρας ἐκείνης, καὶ ἔπεμψεν αὐτὸν εἰς τοὺς ἀγροὺς αὐτοῦ βόσκειν χοίρους:; — And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
Luke 15:16: ^CA jah gairnida sad itan haurne, þoei matidedun sweina, jah manna imma ni gaf.; — καὶ ἐπεθύμει χορτασθῆναι ἐκ τῶν κερατίων ὧν ἤσθιον οἱ χοῖροι, καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐδίδου αὐτῷ.; — And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
Luke 15:19: ^CA ju þanaseiþs ni im wairþs ei haitaidau sunus þeins; gatawei mik swe ainana asnje þeinaize.; — οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός σου: ποίησόν με ὡς ἕνα τῶν μισθίων σου.; — And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
Luke 15:30: ^CA iþ þan sa sunus þeins, saei fret þein swes miþ kalkjom, qam, ufsnaist imma stiur þana alidan.; — ὅτε δὲ ὁ υἱός σου οὗτος ὁ καταφαγών σου τὸν βίον μετὰ πορνῶν ἦλθεν, ἔθυσας αὐτῷ τὸν σιτευτὸν μόσχον.; — But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
Luke 17:6: ^CA qaþ þan frauja: jabai habaidedeiþ galaubein swe kaurno sinapis, aiþþau jus [jabai] qiþeiþ du bairabagma þamma: uslausei þuk us waurtim jah ussatei þuk in marein, jah andhausidedi þau izwis.; — εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος, εἰ ἔχετε πίστιν ὡς κόκκον σινάπεως, ἐλέγετε ἂν τῇ συκαμίνῳ [ταύτῃ], ἐκριζώθητι καὶ φυτεύθητι ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ: καὶ ὑπήκουσεν ἂν ὑμῖν.; — And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
Luke 17:28: ^CA samaleiko jah swe warþ in dagam Lodis; etun jah drugkun, bauhtedun jah frabauhtedun, satidedun, timridedun;; — ὁμοίως καθὼς ἐγένετο ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις λώτ: ἤσθιον, ἔπινον, ἠγόραζον, ἐπώλουν, ἐφύτευον, ᾠκοδόμουν:; — Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Luke 18:8: ^CA aþþan qiþa izwis þatei gawrikiþ ins sprauto. iþ sweþauh sunus mans qimands bi~u~gitai galaubein ana airþai?; — λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ποιήσει τὴν ἐκδίκησιν αὐτῶν ἐν τάχει. πλὴν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐλθὼν ἆρα εὑρήσει τὴν πίστιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς;; — I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Luke 18:17: ^CA amen, qiþa izwis, saei ni andnimiþ þiudangardja gudis swe barn, ni qimiþ in izai.; — ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ὃς ἂν μὴ δέξηται τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ ὡς παιδίον, οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθῃ εἰς αὐτήν.; — Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
Luke 18:20: ^CA þos anabusnins kant: ni horinos; ni maurþrjais; ni hlifais; ni galiugaweitwods sijais; swerai attan þeinana jah aiþein.; — τὰς ἐντολὰς οἶδας: μὴ μοιχεύσῃς, μὴ φονεύσῃς, μὴ κλέψῃς, μὴ ψευδομαρτυρήσῃς, τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα.; — Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
Luke 19:27: ^CA aþþan sweþauh fijands meinans jainans, þaiei ni wildedun mik þiudanon ufar sis, briggiþ her jah usqimiþ faura mis.; — πλὴν τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου τούτους τοὺς μὴ θελήσαντάς με βασιλεῦσαι ἐπ' αὐτοὺς ἀγάγετε ὧδε καὶ κατασφάξατε αὐτοὺς ἔμπροσθέν μου.; — But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
Luke 20:37: ^CA aþþan þatei urreisand dauþans, jah Moses bandwida ana aihvatundjai, swe qiþiþ: sahv fraujan guþ Abrahamis jah guþ Isakis jah guþ Iakobis.; — ὅτι δὲ ἐγείρονται οἱ νεκροὶ καὶ μωϋσῆς ἐμήνυσεν ἐπὶ τῆς βάτου, ὡς λέγει κύριον τὸν θεὸν ἀβραὰμ καὶ θεὸν ἰσαὰκ καὶ θεὸν ἰακώβ:; — Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
Mark 1:2: ^CA swe gameliþ ist in Esaïin praufetau: sai, ik insandja aggilu meinana faura þus, saei gamanweiþ wig þeinana faura þus.; — καθὼς γέγραπται ἐν τῷ ἠσαΐᾳ τῷ προφήτῃ, ἰδοὺ ἀποστέλλω τὸν ἄγγελόν μου πρὸ προσώπου σου, ὃς κατασκευάσει τὴν ὁδόν σου:; — As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
Mark 1:10: ^CA jah suns usgaggands us þamma watin gasahv usluknans himinans jah ahman swe ahak atgaggandan ana ina.; — καὶ εὐθὺς ἀναβαίνων ἐκ τοῦ ὕδατος εἶδεν σχιζομένους τοὺς οὐρανοὺς καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα ὡς περιστερὰν καταβαῖνον εἰς αὐτόν:; — And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
Mark 1:22: ^CA jah usfilmans waurþun ana þizai laiseinai is; unte was laisjands ins swe waldufni habands jah ni swaswe þai bokarjos.; — καὶ ἐξεπλήσσοντο ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ, ἦν γὰρ διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ὡς ἐξουσίαν ἔχων καὶ οὐχ ὡς οἱ γραμματεῖς.; — And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
Mark 2:19: ^CA jah qaþ im Iesus: ibai magun sunjus bruþfadis, und þatei miþ im ist bruþfaþs, fastan? swa lagga hveila swe miþ sis haband bruþfad, ni magun fastan.; — καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ ἰησοῦς, μὴ δύνανται οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ νυμφῶνος ἐν ᾧ ὁ νυμφίος μετ' αὐτῶν ἐστιν νηστεύειν; ὅσον χρόνον ἔχουσιν τὸν νυμφίον μετ' αὐτῶν οὐ δύνανται νηστεύειν:; — And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
Mark 3:10: ^CA managans auk gahailida, swaswe drusun ana ina ei imma attaitokeina, jah swa managai swe habaidedun wundufnjos; — πολλοὺς γὰρ ἐθεράπευσεν, ὥστε ἐπιπίπτειν αὐτῷ ἵνα αὐτοῦ ἅψωνται ὅσοι εἶχον μάστιγας.; — For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
Mark 4:27: ^CA jah slepiþ jah urreisiþ naht jah daga, jah þata fraiw keiniþ jah liudiþ swe ni wait is.; — καὶ καθεύδῃ καὶ ἐγείρηται νύκτα καὶ ἡμέραν, καὶ ὁ σπόρος βλαστᾷ καὶ μηκύνηται ὡς οὐκ οἶδεν αὐτός.; — And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
Mark 4:31: ^CA swe kaurno sinapis, þatei þan saiada ana airþa, minnist allaize fraiwe ist þize ana airþai;; — ὡς κόκκῳ σινάπεως, ὃς ὅταν σπαρῇ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, μικρότερον ὂν πάντων τῶν σπερμάτων τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς,; — It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
Mark 4:36: ^CA jah afletandans þo managein andnemun ina swe was in skipa; jah þan anþara skipa wesun miþ imma.; — καὶ ἀφέντες τὸν ὄχλον παραλαμβάνουσιν αὐτὸν ὡς ἦν ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ, καὶ ἄλλα πλοῖα ἦν μετ' αὐτοῦ.; — And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
Mark 5:11: ^CA wasuh þan jainar hairda sweine haldana at þamma fairgunja.; — ἦν δὲ ἐκεῖ πρὸς τῷ ὄρει ἀγέλη χοίρων μεγάλη βοσκομένη:; — Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
Mark 5:12: ^CA jah bedun ina allos þos unhulþons qiþandeins: insandei unsis in þo sweina, ei in þo galeiþaima.; — καὶ παρεκάλεσαν αὐτὸν λέγοντες, πέμψον ἡμᾶς εἰς τοὺς χοίρους, ἵνα εἰς αὐτοὺς εἰσέλθωμεν.; — And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
Mark 5:13: ^CA jah uslaubida im Iesus suns. jah usgaggandans ahmans þai unhrainjans galiþun in þo sweina, jah rann so hairda and driuson in marein; wesunuþ~þan swe twos þusundjos, jah afhvapnodedun in marein.; — καὶ ἐπέτρεψεν αὐτοῖς. καὶ ἐξελθόντα τὰ πνεύματα τὰ ἀκάθαρτα εἰσῆλθον εἰς τοὺς χοίρους, καὶ ὥρμησεν ἡ ἀγέλη κατὰ τοῦ κρημνοῦ εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν, ὡς δισχίλιοι, καὶ ἐπνίγοντο ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ.; — And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
Mark 5:14: ^CA jah þai haldandans þo sweina gaþlauhun jah gataihun in baurg jah in haimom, jah qemun saihvan hva wesi þata waurþano.; — καὶ οἱ βόσκοντες αὐτοὺς ἔφυγον καὶ ἀπήγγειλαν εἰς τὴν πόλιν καὶ εἰς τοὺς ἀγρούς: καὶ ἦλθον ἰδεῖν τί ἐστιν τὸ γεγονός.; — And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
Mark 5:16: ^CA jah spillodedun im þaiei gasehvun, hvaiwa warþ bi þana wodan jah bi þo sweina.; — καὶ διηγήσαντο αὐτοῖς οἱ ἰδόντες πῶς ἐγένετο τῷ δαιμονιζομένῳ καὶ περὶ τῶν χοίρων.; — And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.
Mark 6:11: ^CA jah swa managai swe ni andnimaina izwis nih hausjaina izwis, usgaggandans jainþro ushrisjaiþ mulda þo undaro fotum izwaraim du weitwodiþai im. amen, qiþa izwis: sutizo ist Saudaumjam aiþþau Gaumaurjam in daga stauos þau þizai baurg jainai.; — καὶ ὃς ἂν τόπος μὴ δέξηται ὑμᾶς μηδὲ ἀκούσωσιν ὑμῶν, ἐκπορευόμενοι ἐκεῖθεν ἐκτινάξατε τὸν χοῦν τὸν ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς.; — And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Mark 6:15: ^CA anþarai þan qeþun þatei Helias ist; anþarai þan qeþun þatei praufetes ist swe ains þize praufete.; — ἄλλοι δὲ ἔλεγον ὅτι ἠλίας ἐστίν: ἄλλοι δὲ ἔλεγον ὅτι προφήτης ὡς εἷς τῶν προφητῶν.; — Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.
Mark 6:30: ^CA jah gaïddjedun apaustauleis du Iesua jah gataihun imma allata jah swa filu swe gatawidedun . . . .; — καὶ συνάγονται οἱ ἀπόστολοι πρὸς τὸν ἰησοῦν, καὶ ἀπήγγειλαν αὐτῷ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησαν καὶ ὅσα ἐδίδαξαν.; — And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.
Mark 6:56: ^CA jah þishvaduh þadei iddja in haimos aiþþau baurgs aiþþau in weihsa, ana gagga lagidedun siukans jah bedun ina ei þau skauta wastjos is attaitokeina; jah swa managai swe attaitokun imma, ganesun.; — καὶ ὅπου ἂν εἰσεπορεύετο εἰς κώμας ἢ εἰς πόλεις ἢ εἰς ἀγροὺς ἐν ταῖς ἀγοραῖς ἐτίθεσαν τοὺς ἀσθενοῦντας, καὶ παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν ἵνα κἂν τοῦ κρασπέδου τοῦ ἱματίου αὐτοῦ ἅψωνται: καὶ ὅσοι ἂν ἥψαντο αὐτοῦ ἐσῴζοντο.; — And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.
Mark 7:6: ^CA iþ is andhafjands qaþ du im þatei waila praufetida Esaïas bi izwis þans liutans, swe gameliþ ist: so managei wairilom mik sweraiþ, iþ hairto ize fairra habaiþ sik mis.; — ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, καλῶς ἐπροφήτευσεν ἠσαΐας περὶ ὑμῶν τῶν ὑποκριτῶν, ὡς γέγραπται [ὅτι] οὗτος ὁ λαὸς τοῖς χείλεσίν με τιμᾷ, ἡ δὲ καρδία αὐτῶν πόρρω ἀπέχει ἀπ' ἐμοῦ:; — He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Mark 7:10: ^CA Moses auk raihtis qaþ: swerai attan þeinana jah aiþein þeina; jah: saei ubil qiþai attin seinamma aiþþau aiþein seinai, dauþau afdauþjaidau.; — μωϋσῆς γὰρ εἶπεν, τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα σου, καί, ὁ κακολογῶν πατέρα ἢ μητέρα θανάτῳ τελευτάτω:; — For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
Mark 8:9: ^CA wesunuþ~þan þai matjandans swe fidwor þusundjos; jah fralailot ins.; — ἦσαν δὲ ὡς τετρακισχίλιοι. καὶ ἀπέλυσεν αὐτούς.; — And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.
Mark 8:24: ^CA jah ussaihvands qaþ: gasaihva mans, þatei swe bagmans gasaihva gaggandans.; — καὶ ἀναβλέψας ἔλεγεν, βλέπω τοὺς ἀνθρώπους, ὅτι ὡς δένδρα ὁρῶ περιπατοῦντας.; — And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
Mark 9:3: ^CA jah wastjos is waurþun glitmunjandeins, hveitos swe snaiws, swaleikos swe wullareis ana airþai ni mag gahveitjan.; — καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο στίλβοντα λευκὰ λίαν οἷα γναφεὺς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς οὐ δύναται οὕτως λευκᾶναι.; — And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
Mark 9:12: ^CA iþ is andhafjands qaþ du im: Helias sweþauh qimands faurþis aftra gaboteiþ alla; jah hvaiwa gameliþ ist bi sunu mans, ei manag winnai jah frakunþs wairþai.; — ὁ δὲ ἔφη αὐτοῖς, ἠλίας μὲν ἐλθὼν πρῶτον ἀποκαθιστάνει πάντα, καὶ πῶς γέγραπται ἐπὶ τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἵνα πολλὰ πάθῃ καὶ ἐξουδενηθῇ;; — And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
Mark 9:13: ^CA akei qiþa izwis þatei ju Helias qam jah gatawidedun imma swa filu swe wildedun, swaswe gameliþ ist bi ina.; — ἀλλὰ λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι καὶ ἠλίας ἐλήλυθεν, καὶ ἐποίησαν αὐτῷ ὅσα ἤθελον, καθὼς γέγραπται ἐπ' αὐτόν.; — But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.
Mark 9:26: ^CA jah hropjands jah filu tahjands ina usiddja; jah warþ swe dauþs, swaswe managai qeþun þatei gaswalt.; — καὶ κράξας καὶ πολλὰ σπαράξας ἐξῆλθεν: καὶ ἐγένετο ὡσεὶ νεκρός, ὥστε τοὺς πολλοὺς λέγειν ὅτι ἀπέθανεν.; — And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
Mark 10:1: ^CA Jah jainþro usstandands qam in markom Iudaias hindar Iaurdanau; jah gaqemun sik aftra manageins du imma, jah, swe biuhts <was>, aftra laisida ins.; — καὶ ἐκεῖθεν ἀναστὰς ἔρχεται εἰς τὰ ὅρια τῆς ἰουδαίας [καὶ] πέραν τοῦ ἰορδάνου, καὶ συμπορεύονται πάλιν ὄχλοι πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ ὡς εἰώθει πάλιν ἐδίδασκεν αὐτούς.; — And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
Mark 10:15: ^CA amen, qiþa izwis: saei ni andnimiþ þiudangardja gudis swe barn, ni þauh qimiþ in izai.; — ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ὃς ἂν μὴ δέξηται τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ ὡς παιδίον, οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθῃ εἰς αὐτήν.; — Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
Mark 10:19: ^CA þos anabusnins kant: ni horinos; ni maurþrjais; ni hlifais; ni sijais galiugaweitwods; ni anamahtjais; swerai attan þeinana jah aiþein þeina.; — τὰς ἐντολὰς οἶδας: μὴ φονεύσῃς, μὴ μοιχεύσῃς, μὴ κλέψῃς, μὴ ψευδομαρτυρήσῃς, μὴ ἀποστερήσῃς, τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα.; — Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
Mark 10:21: ^CA iþ Iesus insaihvands du imma frijoda ina jah qaþ du imma: ainis þus wan ist; gagg, swa filu swe habais frabugei jah gif þarbam, jah habais huzd in himinam; jah hiri laistjan mik nimands galgan.; — ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς ἐμβλέψας αὐτῷ ἠγάπησεν αὐτὸν καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ, ἕν σε ὑστερεῖ: ὕπαγε ὅσα ἔχεις πώλησον καὶ δὸς [τοῖς] πτωχοῖς, καὶ ἕξεις θησαυρὸν ἐν οὐρανῷ, καὶ δεῦρο ἀκολούθει μοι.; — Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Mark 10:39: ^CA iþ eis qeþun du imma: magu. iþ Iesus qaþuh du im: sweþauh þana stikl þanei ik driggka, driggkats jah þizai daupeinai þizaiei ik daupjada <daupjanda>;; — οἱ δὲ εἶπαν αὐτῷ, δυνάμεθα. ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, τὸ ποτήριον ὃ ἐγὼ πίνω πίεσθε καὶ τὸ βάπτισμα ὃ ἐγὼ βαπτίζομαι βαπτισθήσεσθε,; — And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
Mark 12:25: ^CA allis þan usstandand us dauþaim, ni liugand ni liuganda, ak sind swe aggiljus þai in himinam.; — ὅταν γὰρ ἐκ νεκρῶν ἀναστῶσιν, οὔτε γαμοῦσιν οὔτε γαμίζονται, ἀλλ' εἰσὶν ὡς ἄγγελοι ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.; — For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
Mark 12:31: ^CA jah anþara galeika þizai: frijos nehvundjan þeinana swe þuk silban. Maizei þaim anþara anabusns nist.; — δευτέρα αὕτη, ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν. μείζων τούτων ἄλλη ἐντολὴ οὐκ ἔστιν.; — And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Mark 12:33: ^CA jah þata du frijon ina us allamma hairtin jah us allamma fraþja jah us allai saiwalai jah us allai mahtai, jah þata du frijon nehvundjan swe sik silban managizo ist allaim þaim alabrunstim jah saudim.; — καὶ τὸ ἀγαπᾶν αὐτὸν ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς συνέσεως καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ἰσχύος καὶ τὸ ἀγαπᾶν τὸν πλησίον ὡς ἑαυτὸν περισσότερόν ἐστιν πάντων τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων καὶ θυσιῶν.; — And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Mark 13:19: ^CA wairþand auk þai dagos jainai aglo swaleika, swe ni was swaleika fram anastodeinai gaskaftais þoei gaskop guþ, und hita, jah ni wairþiþ.; — ἔσονται γὰρ αἱ ἡμέραι ἐκεῖναι θλῖψις οἵα οὐ γέγονεν τοιαύτη ἀπ' ἀρχῆς κτίσεως ἣν ἔκτισεν ὁ θεὸς ἕως τοῦ νῦν καὶ οὐ μὴ γένηται.; — For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
Mark 14:48: ^CA jah andhafjands Iesus qaþ du im: swe du waidedjin urrunnuþ miþ hairum jah triwam greipan mik.; — καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, ὡς ἐπὶ λῃστὴν ἐξήλθατε μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων συλλαβεῖν με;; — And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me?
Mark 14:72: ^CA jah anþaramma sinþa hana wopida. jah gamunda Paitrus þata waurd, swe qaþ imma Iesus, þatei faurþize hana hrukjai twaim sinþam, inwidis mik þrim sinþam. jah dugann greitan.; — καὶ εὐθὺς ἐκ δευτέρου ἀλέκτωρ ἐφώνησεν. καὶ ἀνεμνήσθη ὁ πέτρος τὸ ῥῆμα ὡς εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς ὅτι πρὶν ἀλέκτορα φωνῆσαι δὶς τρίς με ἀπαρνήσῃ: καὶ ἐπιβαλὼν ἔκλαιεν.; — And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
Mark 15:20: ^CA jah biþe bilailaikun ina andwasidedun ina þizai paurpurai jah gawasidedun ina wastjom swesaim. jah ustauhun ina ei ushramidedeina ina.; — καὶ ὅτε ἐνέπαιξαν αὐτῷ, ἐξέδυσαν αὐτὸν τὴν πορφύραν καὶ ἐνέδυσαν αὐτὸν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἐξάγουσιν αὐτὸν ἵνα σταυρώσωσιν αὐτόν.; — And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.
Romans 7:1: ^A Þau niu wituþ, broþrjus kunnandam auk witoþ rodja, þatei witoþ fraujinoþ mann, s<wa> lagga hveila swe libaiþ?; — ἢ ἀγνοεῖτε, ἀδελφοί, γινώσκουσιν γὰρ νόμον λαλῶ, ὅτι ὁ νόμος κυριεύει τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐφ' ὅσον χρόνον ζῇ;; — Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Romans 7:12: ^A aþþan nu sweþauh witoþ weihata jah anabusns weiha jah garaihta jah þiuþeiga.; — ὥστε ὁ μὲν νόμος ἅγιος, καὶ ἡ ἐντολὴ ἁγία καὶ δικαία καὶ ἀγαθή.; — Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Romans 8:9: ^A iþ jus ni sijuþ in leika, ak in ahmin, sweþauh jabai ahma gudis bauiþ in izwis. iþ jabai hvas ahman Xristaus ni habaiþ, sa nist is.; — ὑμεῖς δὲ οὐκ ἐστὲ ἐν σαρκὶ ἀλλὰ ἐν πνεύματι, εἴπερ πνεῦμα θεοῦ οἰκεῖ ἐν ὑμῖν. εἰ δέ τις πνεῦμα χριστοῦ οὐκ ἔχει, οὗτος οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοῦ.; — But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Romans 8:36: ^A swaswe gameliþ ist þatei in þuk gadauþjanda all dagis, rahnidai wesum swe lamba slauhtais.; — καθὼς γέγραπται ὅτι ἕνεκεν σοῦ θανατούμεθα ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν, ἐλογίσθημεν ὡς πρόβατα σφαγῆς.; — As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Romans 9:6: ^A aþþan sweþauh ni usdraus waurd gudis; ni auk allai þai us Israela <þai> sind Israel,; — οὐχ οἷον δὲ ὅτι ἐκπέπτωκεν ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ. οὐ γὰρ πάντες οἱ ἐξ ἰσραήλ, οὗτοι ἰσραήλ:; — Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Romans 9:29: ^A jah swaswe fauraqaþ Esaïas: nih frauja Sabaoþ biliþi unsis fraiwa, swe Saudauma þau waurþeima jah swe Gaumaurra þau galeikai waurþeima.; — καὶ καθὼς προείρηκεν ἠσαΐας, εἰ μὴ κύριος σαβαὼθ ἐγκατέλιπεν ἡμῖν σπέρμα, ὡς σόδομα ἂν ἐγενήθημεν καὶ ὡς γόμορρα ἂν ὡμοιώθημεν.; — And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
Romans 11:13: ^A izwis auk qiþa þiudom: swa lagga swe ik im þiudo apaustaulus, andbahti mein mikilja,; — ὑμῖν δὲ λέγω τοῖς ἔθνεσιν. ἐφ' ὅσον μὲν οὖν εἰμι ἐγὼ ἐθνῶν ἀπόστολος, τὴν διακονίαν μου δοξάζω,; — For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
Romans 11:24: ^A jabai auk þu us wistai usmaitans þis wilþei<n>s alewabagmis jah aljakuns wisands, intrusgans warst in godana alewabagm, hvan filu mais þai bi wistai intrusgjanda in swesana alewabagm?; — εἰ γὰρ σὺ ἐκ τῆς κατὰ φύσιν ἐξεκόπης ἀγριελαίου καὶ παρὰ φύσιν ἐνεκεντρίσθης εἰς καλλιέλαιον, πόσῳ μᾶλλον οὗτοι οἱ κατὰ φύσιν ἐγκεντρισθήσονται τῇ ἰδίᾳ ἐλαίᾳ.; — For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Romans 12:10: ^A broþralubon in izwis misso friaþwamildjai; sweriþai izwis misso faurarahnjandans;; — τῇ φιλαδελφίᾳ εἰς ἀλλήλους φιλόστοργοι, τῇ τιμῇ ἀλλήλους προηγούμενοι,; — Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
Romans 13:7: ^A usgibiþ nu allaim skuldo: þammei gabaur gabaur, þammei mota mota, þammei agis agis, þammei sweriþa sweriþa.; — ἀπόδοτε πᾶσιν τὰς ὀφειλάς, τῷ τὸν φόρον τὸν φόρον, τῷ τὸ τέλος τὸ τέλος, τῷ τὸν φόβον τὸν φόβον, τῷ τὴν τιμὴν τὴν τιμήν.; — Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Romans 13:13: ^A swe in daga garedaba gaggaima, ni gabauram jah drugkaneim, ni ligram jah aglaitjam ni haifstai jah aljana;; — ὡς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ εὐσχημόνως περιπατήσωμεν, μὴ κώμοις καὶ μέθαις, μὴ κοίταις καὶ ἀσελγείαις, μὴ ἔριδι καὶ ζήλῳ:; — Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
