aþþan qiþa izwis þatei gawrikiþ ins sprauto. iþ sweþauh sunus mans qimands bi~u~gitai galaubein ana airþai?
- — λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ποιήσει τὴν ἐκδίκησιν αὐτῶν ἐν τάχει. πλὴν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐλθὼν ἆρα εὑρήσει τὴν πίστιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς;
- — I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

biþ~þan~gitanda galiugaweitwods gudis, unte weitwodidedum bi guþ þatei urraisida Xristu, þanei ni urraisida.
- — εὑρισκόμεθα δὲ καὶ ψευδομάρτυρες τοῦ θεοῦ, ὅτι ἐμαρτυρήσαμεν κατὰ τοῦ θεοῦ ὅτι ἤγειρεν τὸν χριστόν, ὃν οὐκ ἤγειρεν εἴπερ ἄρα νεκροὶ οὐκ ἐγείρονται.
- — Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
