jah ufta ina jah in fon atwarp jah in wato, ei usqistidedi imma; akei jabai mageis, hilp unsara, gableiþjands unsis.
- — καὶ πολλάκις καὶ εἰς πῦρ αὐτὸν ἔβαλεν καὶ εἰς ὕδατα ἵνα ἀπολέσῃ αὐτόν: ἀλλ' εἴ τι δύνῃ, βοήθησον ἡμῖν σπλαγχνισθεὶς ἐφ' ἡμᾶς.
- — And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

du Mose auk qiþiþ: gaarma þanei arma, jah gableiþja þanei bleiþja.
- — τῷ μωϋσεῖ γὰρ λέγει, ἐλεήσω ὃν ἂν ἐλεῶ, καὶ οἰκτιρήσω ὃν ἂν οἰκτίρω.
- — For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
