— Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

— And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.

— And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luke 17:27

— And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
