- — καὶ ἕτερος εἶπεν, ζεύγη βοῶν ἠγόρασα πέντε καὶ πορεύομαι δοκιμάσαι αὐτά: ἐρωτῶ σε, ἔχε με παρῃτημένον.
- — And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

- — For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?

- — λέγει γὰρ ἡ γραφή, βοῦν ἀλοῶντα οὐ φιμώσεις: καί, ἄξιος ὁ ἐργάτης τοῦ μισθοῦ αὐτοῦ.
- — For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
