- — καὶ ἐλθὼν ὁ ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν τοῦ ἄρχοντος καὶ ἰδὼν τοὺς αὐλητὰς καὶ τὸν ὄχλον θορυβούμενον
- — And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,

- — καὶ ἔρχονται εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ ἀρχισυναγώγου, καὶ θεωρεῖ θόρυβον καὶ κλαίοντας καὶ ἀλαλάζοντας πολλά,
- — And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

- — And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.

- — ἦν δὲ ὁ λεγόμενος βαραββᾶς μετὰ τῶν στασιαστῶν δεδεμένος οἵτινες ἐν τῇ στάσει φόνον πεποιήκεισαν.
- — And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.
