He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Arise, let us go hence.

John 16:27: ^CA ak silba atta frijoþ izwis, unte jus mik frijodeduþ jah galaubideduþ þatei ik fram guda urrann.; — αὐτὸς γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ φιλεῖ ὑμᾶς, ὅτι ὑμεῖς ἐμὲ πεφιλήκατε καὶ πεπιστεύκατε ὅτι ἐγὼ παρὰ [τοῦ] θεοῦ ἐξῆλθον.; — For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

John 17:11: ^CA ni þanaseiþs im in þamma fairhvau; iþ þai in þamma fairhvau sind, jah ik du þus gagga. atta weiha, fastai ins in namin þeinamma, þanzei atgaft mis, ei sijaina ain swaswe wit.; — καὶ οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ, καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ εἰσίν, κἀγὼ πρὸς σὲ ἔρχομαι. πάτερ ἅγιε, τήρησον αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ᾧ δέδωκάς μοι, ἵνα ὦσιν ἓν καθὼς ἡμεῖς.; — And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
John 17:21: ^CA ei allai ain sijaina, swaswe þu, atta, in mis jah ik in þus, ei jah þai in uggkis ain sijaina, ei so manaseþs galaubjai þatei þu mik insandides.; — ἵνα πάντες ἓν ὦσιν, καθὼς σύ, πάτερ, ἐν ἐμοὶ κἀγὼ ἐν σοί, ἵνα καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐν ἡμῖν ὦσιν, ἵνα ὁ κόσμος πιστεύῃ ὅτι σύ με ἀπέστειλας.; — That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 17:24: ^CA atta, þatei atgaft mis, wiljau ei þarei im ik, jah þai sijaina miþ mis, ei saihvaina wulþu meinana þanei gaft mis, unte frijodes mik faur gaskaft fairhvaus.; — πάτερ, ὃ δέδωκάς μοι, θέλω ἵνα ὅπου εἰμὶ ἐγὼ κἀκεῖνοι ὦσιν μετ' ἐμοῦ, ἵνα θεωρῶσιν τὴν δόξαν τὴν ἐμὴν ἣν δέδωκάς μοι, ὅτι ἠγάπησάς με πρὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου.; — Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
John 17:25: ^CA atta garaihta, jah so manaseþs þuk ni ufkunþa; iþ ik þuk kunþa. jah þai ufkunþedun þatei þu mik insandides.; — πάτερ δίκαιε, καὶ ὁ κόσμος σε οὐκ ἔγνω, ἐγὼ δέ σε ἔγνων, καὶ οὗτοι ἔγνωσαν ὅτι σύ με ἀπέστειλας,; — O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
John 18:11: ^CA þaruh qaþ Iesus du Paitrau: lagei þana hairu in fodr. stikl þanei gaf mis atta, niu drigkau þana?; — εἶπεν οὖν ὁ ἰησοῦς τῷ πέτρῳ, βάλε τὴν μάχαιραν εἰς τὴν θήκην: τὸ ποτήριον ὃ δέδωκέν μοι ὁ πατὴρ οὐ μὴ πίω αὐτό;; — Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

Luke 6:36: ^CA wairþaid bleiþjandans, swaswe jah atta izwar bleiþs ist.; — γίνεσθε οἰκτίρμονες καθὼς [καὶ] ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν οἰκτίρμων ἐστίν.; — Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Jai, atta, unte swa warþ galeikaiþ in andwairþja þeinamma. jah gawandiþs du siponjam seinaim qaþ:; — ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ὥρᾳ ἠγαλλιάσατο [ἐν] τῷ πνεύματι τῷ ἁγίῳ καὶ εἶπεν, ἐξομολογοῦμαί σοι, πάτερ, κύριε τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅτι ἀπέκρυψας ταῦτα ἀπὸ σοφῶν καὶ συνετῶν, καὶ ἀπεκάλυψας αὐτὰ νηπίοις: ναί, ὁ πατήρ, ὅτι οὕτως εὐδοκία ἐγένετο ἔμπροσθέν σου.; — In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Luke 15:12: ^CA jah qaþ sa juhiza ize du attin: atta, gif mis, sei undrinnai mik dail aiginis; jah disdailida im swes sein.; — καὶ εἶπεν ὁ νεώτερος αὐτῶν τῷ πατρί, πάτερ, δός μοι τὸ ἐπιβάλλον μέρος τῆς οὐσίας. ὁ δὲ διεῖλεν αὐτοῖς τὸν βίον.; — And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
