hausideduþ þatei qiþan ist þaim airizam: ni maurþrjais; iþ saei maurþreiþ skula wairþiþ stauai.
- — ἠκούσατε ὅτι ἐρρέθη τοῖς ἀρχαίοις, οὐ φονεύσεις: ὃς δ' ἂν φονεύσῃ, ἔνοχος ἔσται τῇ κρίσει.
- — Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

- — They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.
