Matthew 8:1

^CA  Dalaþ þan atgaggandin imma af fairgunja, laistidedun afar imma iumjons managos.

— καταβάντος δὲ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ ὄχλοι πολλοί.

— When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

Matthew 8:5

— εἰσελθόντος δὲ αὐτοῦ εἰς καφαρναοὺμ προσῆλθεν αὐτῷ ἑκατόνταρχος παρακαλῶν αὐτὸν

— And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

Matthew 8:10

— ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς ἐθαύμασεν καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς ἀκολουθοῦσιν, ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, παρ' οὐδενὶ τοσαύτην πίστιν ἐν τῷ ἰσραὴλ εὗρον.

— When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Matthew 8:22

— ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς λέγει αὐτῷ, ἀκολούθει μοι, καὶ ἄφες τοὺς νεκροὺς θάψαι τοὺς ἑαυτῶν νεκρούς.

— But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Matthew 8:23

Matthew 9:9

— καὶ παράγων ὁ ἰησοῦς ἐκεῖθεν εἶδεν ἄνθρωπον καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον, μαθθαῖον λεγόμενον, καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ, ἀκολούθει μοι. καὶ ἀναστὰς ἠκολούθησεν αὐτῷ.

— And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

Matthew 9:19

— And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.

Matthew 9:27

— καὶ παράγοντι ἐκεῖθεν τῷ ἰησοῦ ἠκολούθησαν [αὐτῷ] δύο τυφλοὶ κράζοντες καὶ λέγοντες, ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς, υἱὸς δαυίδ.

— And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.

Matthew 10:38

^CA  jah saei ni nimiþ galgan seinana jah laistjai afar mis, nist meina wairþs.

— καὶ ὃς οὐ λαμβάνει τὸν σταυρὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκολουθεῖ ὀπίσω μου, οὐκ ἔστιν μου ἄξιος.

— And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Matthew 26:2

— Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

Matthew 26:73

— And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.

Matthew 27:53

— καὶ ἐξελθόντες ἐκ τῶν μνημείων μετὰ τὴν ἔγερσιν αὐτοῦ εἰσῆλθον εἰς τὴν ἁγίαν πόλιν καὶ ἐνεφανίσθησαν πολλοῖς.

— And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Matthew 27:55

— ἦσαν δὲ ἐκεῖ γυναῖκες πολλαὶ ἀπὸ μακρόθεν θεωροῦσαι, αἵτινες ἠκολούθησαν τῷ ἰησοῦ ἀπὸ τῆς γαλιλαίας διακονοῦσαι αὐτῷ:

— And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:

— Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

Matthew 27:63

— Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

John 7:1

— After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

John 11:7

— ἔπειτα μετὰ τοῦτο λέγει τοῖς μαθηταῖς, ἄγωμεν εἰς τὴν ἰουδαίαν πάλιν.

— Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.

John 11:11

— ταῦτα εἶπεν, καὶ μετὰ τοῦτο λέγει αὐτοῖς, λάζαρος ὁ φίλος ἡμῶν κεκοίμηται, ἀλλὰ πορεύομαι ἵνα ἐξυπνίσω αὐτόν.

— These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

John 11:31

— οἱ οὖν ἰουδαῖοι οἱ ὄντες μετ' αὐτῆς ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ καὶ παραμυθούμενοι αὐτήν, ἰδόντες τὴν μαριὰμ ὅτι ταχέως ἀνέστη καὶ ἐξῆλθεν, ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῇ, δόξαντες ὅτι ὑπάγει εἰς τὸ μνημεῖον ἵνα κλαύσῃ ἐκεῖ.

— The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.

John 12:19

^CA  þanuh þai Fareisaieis qeþun du sis misso: saihviþ þatei ni boteiþ waiht; sai, so manaseds afar imma galaiþ.

— οἱ οὖν φαρισαῖοι εἶπαν πρὸς ἑαυτούς, θεωρεῖτε ὅτι οὐκ ὠφελεῖτε οὐδέν: ἴδε ὁ κόσμος ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ ἀπῆλθεν.

— The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

John 13:27

— καὶ μετὰ τὸ ψωμίον τότε εἰσῆλθεν εἰς ἐκεῖνον ὁ σατανᾶς. λέγει οὖν αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς, ὃ ποιεῖς ποίησον τάχιον.

— And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

Luke 1:3

— THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

Luke 1:24

Luke 2:46

— And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

Luke 5:5

— And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Luke 5:11

— And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

Luke 5:27

— And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

Luke 7:9

— καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἑξῆς ἐπορεύθη εἰς πόλιν καλουμένην ναΐν, καὶ συνεπορεύοντο αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὄχλος πολύς.

— And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.

Luke 8:1

— And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

Luke 9:11

— οἱ δὲ ὄχλοι γνόντες ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ. καὶ ἀποδεξάμενος αὐτοὺς ἐλάλει αὐτοῖς περὶ τῆς βασιλείας τοῦ θεοῦ, καὶ τοὺς χρείαν ἔχοντας θεραπείας ἰᾶτο.

— And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

Luke 9:23

^CA  qaþ þan du allaim: jabai hvas wili afar mis gaggan, afaikai sik silban jah nimai galgan seinana dag hvanoh jah laistjai mik.

— ἔλεγεν δὲ πρὸς πάντας, εἴ τις θέλει ὀπίσω μου ἔρχεσθαι, ἀρνησάσθω ἑαυτὸν καὶ ἀράτω τὸν σταυρὸν αὐτοῦ καθ' ἡμέραν, καὶ ἀκολουθείτω μοι.

— And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Luke 9:28

— ἐγένετο δὲ μετὰ τοὺς λόγους τούτους ὡσεὶ ἡμέραι ὀκτὼ [καὶ] παραλαβὼν πέτρον καὶ ἰωάννην καὶ ἰάκωβον ἀνέβη εἰς τὸ ὄρος προσεύξασθαι.

— And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

Luke 9:37

— ἐγένετο δὲ τῇ ἑξῆς ἡμέρᾳ κατελθόντων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους συνήντησεν αὐτῷ ὄχλος πολύς.

— And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him.

Luke 14:27

^CA  jah saei ni bairiþ galgan seinana jah gaggai afar mis, ni mag wisan meins siponeis.

— ὅστις οὐ βαστάζει τὸν σταυρὸν ἑαυτοῦ καὶ ἔρχεται ὀπίσω μου οὐ δύναται εἶναί μου μαθητής.

— And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Luke 15:4

^CA  hvas manna izwara aigands taihuntehund lambe jah fraliusands ainamma þize, niu bileiþiþ þo niuntehund jah niun ana auþidai jah gaggiþ afar þamma fralusanin, unte bigitiþ þata?

— τίς ἄνθρωπος ἐξ ὑμῶν ἔχων ἑκατὸν πρόβατα καὶ ἀπολέσας ἐξ αὐτῶν ἓν οὐ καταλείπει τὰ ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ πορεύεται ἐπὶ τὸ ἀπολωλὸς ἕως εὕρῃ αὐτό;

— What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

Luke 15:13

^CA  jah afar ni managans dagans brahta samana allata sa juhiza sunus jah aflaiþ in land fairra wisando jah jainar distahida þata swes seinata libands usstiuriba.

— καὶ μετ' οὐ πολλὰς ἡμέρας συναγαγὼν πάντα ὁ νεώτερος υἱὸς ἀπεδήμησεν εἰς χώραν μακράν, καὶ ἐκεῖ διεσκόρπισεν τὴν οὐσίαν αὐτοῦ ζῶν ἀσώτως.

— And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

Luke 19:14

^CA  iþ baurgjans is fijaidedun ina jah insandidedun airu afar imma qiþandans: ni wileima þana þiudanon ufar unsis.

— οἱ δὲ πολῖται αὐτοῦ ἐμίσουν αὐτόν, καὶ ἀπέστειλαν πρεσβείαν ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ λέγοντες, οὐ θέλομεν τοῦτον βασιλεῦσαι ἐφ' ἡμᾶς.

— But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

Mark 1:7

— καὶ ἐκήρυσσεν λέγων, ἔρχεται ὁ ἰσχυρότερός μου ὀπίσω μου, οὗ οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς κύψας λῦσαι τὸν ἱμάντα τῶν ὑποδημάτων αὐτοῦ:

— And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

Mark 1:14

— Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

Mark 1:17

— καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ ἰησοῦς, δεῦτε ὀπίσω μου, καὶ ποιήσω ὑμᾶς γενέσθαι ἁλιεῖς ἀνθρώπων.

— And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

Mark 1:18

— And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

Mark 1:20

— And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

Mark 2:1
