— When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.
John 19:8

— ὅτε οὖν ἤκουσεν ὁ πιλᾶτος τοῦτον τὸν λόγον, μᾶλλον ἐφοβήθη,

— And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.
John 19:13

— ὁ οὖν πιλᾶτος ἀκούσας τῶν λόγων τούτων ἤγαγεν ἔξω τὸν ἰησοῦν, καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐπὶ βήματος εἰς τόπον λεγόμενον λιθόστρωτον, ἑβραϊστὶ δὲ γαββαθα.
— When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.

— And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto them, Thou sayest it.

— Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.

— ὁ δὲ πιλᾶτος βουλόμενος τῷ ὄχλῳ τὸ ἱκανὸν ποιῆσαι ἀπέλυσεν αὐτοῖς τὸν βαραββᾶν, καὶ παρέδωκεν τὸν ἰησοῦν φραγελλώσας ἵνα σταυρωθῇ.
— And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

CA  iþ Peilatus sildaleikida ei is juþan gaswalt; jah athaitands þana hundafaþ frah ina jû~þan gadauþnodedi.
— ὁ δὲ πιλᾶτος ἐθαύμασεν εἰ ἤδη τέθνηκεν, καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος τὸν κεντυρίωνα ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὸν εἰ πάλαι ἀπέθανεν:
— And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
