Matthew 5:48: ^CA sija iþ nu jus fullatoja i, swaswe atta izwar sa in himinam fullatojis ist.; — ἔσεσθε οὖν ὑμεῖς τέλειοι ὡς ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος τέλειός ἐστιν.; — Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 6:2: ^CA þan nu tauja is arma ion, ni haurnja is faura þus, swaswe þa i liutans taujand in gaqumþim jah in garunsim, e i hauhja indau fram mannam; amen qiþa izwis: andnemun mizdon se ina.; — ὅταν οὖν ποιῇς ἐλεημοσύνην, μὴ σαλπίσῃς ἔμπροσθέν σου, ὥσπερ οἱ ὑποκριταὶ ποιοῦσιν ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς καὶ ἐν ταῖς ῥύμαις, ὅπως δοξασθῶσιν ὑπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων: ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀπέχουσιν τὸν μισθὸν αὐτῶν.; — Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Amen, qiþa izwis þate i haband mizdon se ina.; — καὶ ὅταν προσεύχησθε, οὐκ ἔσεσθε ὡς οἱ ὑποκριταί: ὅτι φιλοῦσιν ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς καὶ ἐν ταῖς γωνίαις τῶν πλατειῶν ἑστῶτες προσεύχεσθαι, ὅπως φανῶσιν τοῖς ἀνθρώποις: ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀπέχουσιν τὸν μισθὸν αὐτῶν.; — And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:8: ^CA ni gale i koþ nu þa im; wa it auk atta izwar þize i jus þaurbuþ, faurþize i jus bidja iþ ina.; — μὴ οὖν ὁμοιωθῆτε αὐτοῖς, οἶδεν γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὧν χρείαν ἔχετε πρὸ τοῦ ὑμᾶς αἰτῆσαι αὐτόν.; — Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Matthew 6:9: ^CA swa nu bidja iþ jus: atta unsar þu in himinam, we ihna i namo þe in.; — οὕτως οὖν προσεύχεσθε ὑμεῖς: πάτερ ἡμῶν ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς, ἁγιασθήτω τὸ ὄνομά σου,; — After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 6:10: ^CA qima i þiudinassus þe ins. wa irþa i wilja þe ins, swe in himina jah ana a irþa i.; — ἐλθέτω ἡ βασιλεία σου, γενηθήτω τὸ θέλημά σου, ὡς ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς.; — Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:11: ^CA hla if unsarana þana sinte inan gif uns himma daga.; — τὸν ἄρτον ἡμῶν τὸν ἐπιούσιον δὸς ἡμῖν σήμερον:; — Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:12: ^CA jah aflet uns þate i skulans sija ima, swaswe jah we is afletam þa im skulam unsara im.; — καὶ ἄφες ἡμῖν τὰ ὀφειλήματα ἡμῶν, ὡς καὶ ἡμεῖς ἀφήκαμεν τοῖς ὀφειλέταις ἡμῶν:; — And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Matthew 6:13: ^CA jah ni brigga is uns in fra istubnja i, a k lause i uns af þamma ubilin; unte þe ina ist þiudangardi jah mahts jah wulþus in a iwins. amen.; — καὶ μὴ εἰσενέγκῃς ἡμᾶς εἰς πειρασμόν, ἀλλὰ ῥῦσαι ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ τοῦ πονηροῦ.; — And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Matthew 6:14: ^CA unte jaba i afletiþ mannam missadedins ize, afletiþ jah izwis atta izwar sa ufar himinam.; — ἐὰν γὰρ ἀφῆτε τοῖς ἀνθρώποις τὰ παραπτώματα αὐτῶν, ἀφήσει καὶ ὑμῖν ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος:; — For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Matthew 6:16: ^CA aþþan biþe fasta iþ, ni wa irþa iþ swaswe þa i liutans gaura i; frawardjand auk andwa irþja se ina, e i gasa ihva indau mannam fastandans. amen, qiþa izwis, þate i andnemun mizdon se ina.; — ὅταν δὲ νηστεύητε, μὴ γίνεσθε ὡς οἱ ὑποκριταὶ σκυθρωποί, ἀφανίζουσιν γὰρ τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν ὅπως φανῶσιν τοῖς ἀνθρώποις νηστεύοντες: ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀπέχουσιν τὸν μισθὸν αὐτῶν.; — Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:18: ^CA e i ni gasa ihva izau mannam fastands, a k attin þe inamma þamma in fulhsnja, jah atta þe ins sa e i sa ihviþ in fulhsnja, usgibiþ þus.; — ὅπως μὴ φανῇς τοῖς ἀνθρώποις νηστεύων ἀλλὰ τῷ πατρί σου τῷ ἐν τῷ κρυφαίῳ: καὶ ὁ πατήρ σου ὁ βλέπων ἐν τῷ κρυφαίῳ ἀποδώσει σοι.; — That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:19: ^CA ni huzdja iþ izwis huzda ana a irþa i, þare i malo jah nidwa frawarde iþ, jah þare i þiubos ufgraband jah hlifand.; — μὴ θησαυρίζετε ὑμῖν θησαυροὺς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅπου σὴς καὶ βρῶσις ἀφανίζει, καὶ ὅπου κλέπται διορύσσουσιν καὶ κλέπτουσιν:; — Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Matthew 6:21: ^CA þare i auk ist huzd izwar, þaruh ist jah ha irto izwar.; — ὅπου γάρ ἐστιν ὁ θησαυρός σου, ἐκεῖ ἔσται καὶ ἡ καρδία σου.; — For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 6:22: ^CA luk arn le i k is ist augo: jaba i nu augo þe in a infalþ ist, allata le i k þe in liuhade in wa irþiþ;; — ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός. ἐὰν οὖν ᾖ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἁπλοῦς, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου φωτεινὸν ἔσται:; — The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Matthew 6:23: ^CA iþ jaba i augo þe in unsel ist, allata le i k þe in riqize in wa irþiþ. jaba i nu liuhaþ þata in þus riqiz ist, þata riqiz hvan filu!; — ἐὰν δὲ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρὸς ᾖ, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου σκοτεινὸν ἔσται. εἰ οὖν τὸ φῶς τὸ ἐν σοὶ σκότος ἐστίν, τὸ σκότος πόσον.; — But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Matthew 6:24: ^CA ni manna mag twa im fraujam sk alk inon; unte jaba i fija iþ a inana, jah anþarana frijoþ; a iþþau a inamma ufhause iþ, iþ anþaramma fra k ann. ni maguþ guda sk alk inon jah mammonin.; — οὐδεὶς δύναται δυσὶ κυρίοις δουλεύειν: ἢ γὰρ τὸν ἕνα μισήσει καὶ τὸν ἕτερον ἀγαπήσει, ἢ ἑνὸς ἀνθέξεται καὶ τοῦ ἑτέρου καταφρονήσει: οὐ δύνασθε θεῷ δουλεύειν καὶ μαμωνᾷ.; — No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Matthew 6:25: ^CA Duþþe qiþa izwis: ni maurna iþ sa iwala i izwara i hva matja iþ jah hva drigk a iþ, nih le i k a izwaramma hve wasja iþ; niu sa iwala ma is ist fode ina i jah le i k wastjom?; — διὰ τοῦτο λέγω ὑμῖν, μὴ μεριμνᾶτε τῇ ψυχῇ ὑμῶν τί φάγητε [ἢ τί πίητε,] μηδὲ τῷ σώματι ὑμῶν τί ἐνδύσησθε: οὐχὶ ἡ ψυχὴ πλεῖόν ἐστιν τῆς τροφῆς καὶ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ ἐνδύματος;; — Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Matthew 6:26: ^CA insa ihviþ du fuglam himinis, þe i ni sa i and nih sne iþand, nih lisand in banstins, jah atta izwar sa ufar himinam fode iþ ins. niu jus ma is wulþrizans sijuþ þa im?; — ἐμβλέψατε εἰς τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ὅτι οὐ σπείρουσιν οὐδὲ θερίζουσιν οὐδὲ συνάγουσιν εἰς ἀποθήκας, καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος τρέφει αὐτά: οὐχ ὑμεῖς μᾶλλον διαφέρετε αὐτῶν;; — Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Matthew 6:27: ^CA iþ hvas izwara maurnands mag ana auk an ana wahstu se inana ale ina a ina?; — τίς δὲ ἐξ ὑμῶν μεριμνῶν δύναται προσθεῖναι ἐπὶ τὴν ἡλικίαν αὐτοῦ πῆχυν ἕνα;; — Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Matthew 6:28: ^CA jah bi wastjos hva saurga iþ? ga kunna iþ blomans ha iþjos, hva iwa wahsjand; nih arba idjand nih spinnand.; — καὶ περὶ ἐνδύματος τί μεριμνᾶτε; καταμάθετε τὰ κρίνα τοῦ ἀγροῦ πῶς αὐξάνουσιν: οὐ κοπιῶσιν οὐδὲ νήθουσιν:; — And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Matthew 6:29: ^CA qiþuh þan izwis þate i nih Saulaumon in allamma wulþau se inamma gawasida si k swe a ins þize.; — λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐδὲ σολομὼν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ δόξῃ αὐτοῦ περιεβάλετο ὡς ἓν τούτων.; — And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Matthew 6:30: ^CA jah þande þata hawi ha iþjos himma daga wisando jah gistradagis in auhn galagiþ guþ swa wasjiþ, hva iwa ma is izwis le itil galaubjandans?; — εἰ δὲ τὸν χόρτον τοῦ ἀγροῦ σήμερον ὄντα καὶ αὔριον εἰς κλίβανον βαλλόμενον ὁ θεὸς οὕτως ἀμφιέννυσιν, οὐ πολλῷ μᾶλλον ὑμᾶς, ὀλιγόπιστοι;; — Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 6:31: ^CA ni maurna iþ nu qiþandans: hva matjam a iþþau hva drigk am a iþþau hve wasja ima?; — μὴ οὖν μεριμνήσητε λέγοντες, τί φάγωμεν; ἤ, τί πίωμεν; ἤ, τί περιβαλώμεθα;; — Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:32: ^CA all auk þata þiudos sokjand; wa ituh þan atta izwar sa ufar himinam þate i þaurbuþ . . . .; — πάντα γὰρ ταῦτα τὰ ἔθνη ἐπιζητοῦσιν: οἶδεν γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος ὅτι χρῄζετε τούτων ἁπάντων.; — (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Matthew 7:12: ^CA . . . . tauja ina izwis mans, swa jah jus tauja iþ im: þata auk ist witoþ jah praufete is.; — πάντα οὖν ὅσα ἐὰν θέλητε ἵνα ποιῶσιν ὑμῖν οἱ ἄνθρωποι, οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς ποιεῖτε αὐτοῖς: οὗτος γάρ ἐστιν ὁ νόμος καὶ οἱ προφῆται.; — Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Matthew 7:14: ^CA hvan aggwu þata daur jah þra ihans wigs sa brigganda in liba ina i, jah fawa i sind þa i bigitandans þana.; — τί στενὴ ἡ πύλη καὶ τεθλιμμένη ἡ ὁδὸς ἡ ἀπάγουσα εἰς τὴν ζωήν, καὶ ὀλίγοι εἰσὶν οἱ εὑρίσκοντες αὐτήν.; — Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:15: ^CA atsa ihviþ sweþauh faura liugnapraufetum þa im ize i qimand at izwis in wastjom lambe, iþ innaþro sind wulfos wilwandans.; — προσέχετε ἀπὸ τῶν ψευδοπροφητῶν, οἵτινες ἔρχονται πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν ἐνδύμασιν προβάτων, ἔσωθεν δέ εἰσιν λύκοι ἅρπαγες.; — Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:16: ^CA bi a kranam ize ufkunna iþ ins. iba i lisand[a] af þaurnum we inabasja a iþþau af wigade inom sma k k ans?; — ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς: μήτι συλλέγουσιν ἀπὸ ἀκανθῶν σταφυλὰς ἢ ἀπὸ τριβόλων σῦκα;; — Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Matthew 7:17: ^CA swa all bagme goda ize a krana goda gataujiþ, iþ sa ubila bagms a krana ubila gataujiþ.; — οὕτως πᾶν δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖ, τὸ δὲ σαπρὸν δένδρον καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖ:; — Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Matthew 7:18: ^CA ni mag bagms þiuþe igs a krana ubila gataujan, nih bagms ubils a krana þiuþe iga gataujan.; — οὐ δύναται δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖν, οὐδὲ δένδρον σαπρὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖν.; — A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 7:19: ^CA all bagme ni taujandane a kran god usma itada jah in fon atlagjada.; — πᾶν δένδρον μὴ ποιοῦν καρπὸν καλὸν ἐκκόπτεται καὶ εἰς πῦρ βάλλεται.; — Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Matthew 7:20: ^CA þannu bi a kranam ize ufkunna iþ ins.; — ἄρα γε ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς.; — Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:21: ^CA ni hvazuh sa e i qiþiþ mis: frauja, frauja! inngale iþiþ in þiudangardja himine, a k sa taujands wiljan attins me inis þis in himinam.; — οὐ πᾶς ὁ λέγων μοι, κύριε κύριε, εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν, ἀλλ' ὁ ποιῶν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.; — Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22: ^CA managa i qiþand mis in ja inamma daga: frauja, frauja! niu þe inamma namin praufetidedum, jah þe inamma namin unhulþons uswaurpum, jah þe inamma namin mahtins mi k ilos gatawidedum?; — πολλοὶ ἐροῦσίν μοι ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ, κύριε κύριε, οὐ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι ἐπροφητεύσαμεν, καὶ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι δαιμόνια ἐξεβάλομεν, καὶ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι δυνάμεις πολλὰς ἐποιήσαμεν;; — Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23: ^CA jah þan andha ita im þate i ni hvanhun kunþa izwis: afle iþiþ fa irra mis, jus waurkjandans unsibjona.; — καὶ τότε ὁμολογήσω αὐτοῖς ὅτι οὐδέποτε ἔγνων ὑμᾶς: ἀποχωρεῖτε ἀπ' ἐμοῦ οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν.; — And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:24: ^CA hvazuh nu sa e i hause iþ waurda me ina jah taujiþ þo, gale i ko ina wa ira frodamma, sa e i gatimrida razn se in ana sta ina.; — πᾶς οὖν ὅστις ἀκούει μου τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ ποιεῖ αὐτοὺς ὁμοιωθήσεται ἀνδρὶ φρονίμῳ, ὅστις ᾠκοδόμησεν αὐτοῦ τὴν οἰκίαν ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν.; — Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Matthew 7:28: ^CA jah warþ, þan ustauh Iesus þo waurda, bi abridedun manage ins ana la ise ina i is.; — καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ ἰησοῦς τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐξεπλήσσοντο οἱ ὄχλοι ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ:; — And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
Matthew 7:29: ^CA was auk la isjands ins swe waldufni habands, jah ni swaswe bok arjos.; — ἦν γὰρ διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ὡς ἐξουσίαν ἔχων καὶ οὐχ ὡς οἱ γραμματεῖς αὐτῶν.; — For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Matthew 8:1: ^CA Dalaþ þan atgaggandin imma af fa irgunja, la istidedun afar imma iumjons managos.; — καταβάντος δὲ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ ὄχλοι πολλοί.; — When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
Matthew 8:2: ^CA jah sa i, manna þrutsfill habands durinnands inwa it ina qiþands: frauja, jaba i wile is, magt mi k gahra injan.; — καὶ ἰδοὺ λεπρὸς προσελθὼν προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγων, κύριε, ἐὰν θέλῃς δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι.; — And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Matthew 8:3: ^CA jah ufra kjands handu atta itok imma qiþands: wiljau, wa irþ hra ins! jah suns hra in warþ þata þrutsfill is.; — καὶ ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ἥψατο αὐτοῦ λέγων, θέλω, καθαρίσθητι: καὶ εὐθέως ἐκαθαρίσθη αὐτοῦ ἡ λέπρα.; — And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Matthew 8:5: ^CA afaruh þan þata innatgaggandin imma in Kafarnaum, duatiddja imma hundafaþs bidjands ina; — εἰσελθόντος δὲ αὐτοῦ εἰς καφαρναοὺμ προσῆλθεν αὐτῷ ἑκατόνταρχος παρακαλῶν αὐτὸν; — And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
Matthew 8:6: ^CA jah qiþands: frauja, þiumagus me ins ligiþ in garda usliþa, harduba balwiþs.; — καὶ λέγων, κύριε, ὁ παῖς μου βέβληται ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ παραλυτικός, δεινῶς βασανιζόμενος.; — And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
Matthew 8:7: ^CA jah qaþ du imma Iesus: i k qimands gaha ilja ina.; — καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ, ἐγὼ ἐλθὼν θεραπεύσω αὐτόν.; — And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
Matthew 8:8: ^CA jah andhafjands sa hundafaþs qaþ: frauja, ni im wa irþs e i uf hrot me in inngagga is, a k þata ine i qiþ waurda jah gaha ilniþ sa þiumagus me ins.; — καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ ἑκατόνταρχος ἔφη, κύριε, οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς ἵνα μου ὑπὸ τὴν στέγην εἰσέλθῃς: ἀλλὰ μόνον εἰπὲ λόγῳ, καὶ ἰαθήσεται ὁ παῖς μου.; — The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
Matthew 8:9: ^CA jah auk i k manna im habands uf waldufnja me inamma gadrauhtins jah qiþa du þamma: gagg, jah gaggiþ; jah anþaramma: qim, jah qimiþ; jah du sk alk a me inamma: tawe i þata, jah taujiþ.; — καὶ γὰρ ἐγὼ ἄνθρωπός εἰμι ὑπὸ ἐξουσίαν, ἔχων ὑπ' ἐμαυτὸν στρατιώτας, καὶ λέγω τούτῳ, πορεύθητι, καὶ πορεύεται, καὶ ἄλλῳ, ἔρχου, καὶ ἔρχεται, καὶ τῷ δούλῳ μου, ποίησον τοῦτο, καὶ ποιεῖ.; — For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
Matthew 8:10: ^CA gahausjands þan Iesus sildale i k ida jah qaþ du þa im afarla istjandam: amen, qiþa izwis, ni in Isra ela swalauda galaube in bigat.; — ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς ἐθαύμασεν καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς ἀκολουθοῦσιν, ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, παρ' οὐδενὶ τοσαύτην πίστιν ἐν τῷ ἰσραὴλ εὗρον.; — When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Matthew 8:11: ^CA aþþan qiþa izwis þate i managa i fram urrunsa jah saggqa qimand, jah ana kumbjand miþ Abrahama jah Isa k a jah Ia koba in þiudangardja i himine:; — λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι πολλοὶ ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ δυσμῶν ἥξουσιν καὶ ἀνακλιθήσονται μετὰ ἀβραὰμ καὶ ἰσαὰκ καὶ ἰακὼβ ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν:; — And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 8:12: ^CA iþ þa i sunjus þiudangardjos uswa irpanda in riqis þata hindumisto; ja inar wa irþiþ grets jah krusts tunþiwe.; — οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ τῆς βασιλείας ἐκβληθήσονται εἰς τὸ σκότος τὸ ἐξώτερον: ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁ κλαυθμὸς καὶ ὁ βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων.; — But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 8:13: ^CA jah qaþ Iesus þamma hundafada: gagg, jah swaswe galaubides wa irþa i þus. jah gaha ilnoda sa þiumagus is in ja ina i hve ila i.; — καὶ εἶπεν ὁ ἰησοῦς τῷ ἑκατοντάρχῃ, ὕπαγε, ὡς ἐπίστευσας γενηθήτω σοι. καὶ ἰάθη ὁ παῖς [αὐτοῦ] ἐν τῇ ὥρᾳ ἐκείνῃ.; — And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Matthew 8:16: ^CA at andanahtja þan waurþanamma, atberun du imma da imonarjans managans, jah uswarp þans ahmans waurda jah allans þans ubil habandans gaha ilida,; — ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ δαιμονιζομένους πολλούς: καὶ ἐξέβαλεν τὰ πνεύματα λόγῳ, καὶ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ἐθεράπευσεν:; — When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
Matthew 8:17: ^CA e i usfullnodedi þata gamelido þa irh Esaïan praufetu qiþandan: sa unmahtins unsaros usnam jah sauhtins usbar.; — ὅπως πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ ἠσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος, αὐτὸς τὰς ἀσθενείας ἡμῶν ἔλαβεν καὶ τὰς νόσους ἐβάστασεν.; — That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Matthew 8:24: ^CA jah sa i, wegs mi k ils warþ in mare in, swaswe þata sk ip gahuliþ wa irþan fram wegim; iþ is sa islep.; — καὶ ἰδοὺ σεισμὸς μέγας ἐγένετο ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ, ὥστε τὸ πλοῖον καλύπτεσθαι ὑπὸ τῶν κυμάτων: αὐτὸς δὲ ἐκάθευδεν.; — And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
Matthew 8:25: ^CA jah duatgaggandans siponjos is urra isidedun ina qiþandans: frauja, nase i unsis, fraqistnam.; — καὶ προσελθόντες ἤγειραν αὐτὸν λέγοντες, κύριε, σῶσον, ἀπολλύμεθα.; — And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
Matthew 8:26: ^CA jah qaþ du im Iesus: hva faurhte iþ, le itil galaubjandans! þanuh urre isands gasok windam jah mare in, jah warþ wis mi k il.; — καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς, τί δειλοί ἐστε, ὀλιγόπιστοι; τότε ἐγερθεὶς ἐπετίμησεν τοῖς ἀνέμοις καὶ τῇ θαλάσσῃ, καὶ ἐγένετο γαλήνη μεγάλη.; — And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Matthew 8:27: ^CA iþ þa i mans sildale i k idedun qiþandans: hvile i ks ist sa, e i jah windos jah mare i ufhausjand imma?; — οἱ δὲ ἄνθρωποι ἐθαύμασαν λέγοντες, ποταπός ἐστιν οὗτος ὅτι καὶ οἱ ἄνεμοι καὶ ἡ θάλασσα αὐτῷ ὑπακούουσιν;; — But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
Matthew 8:28: ^CA jah qimandin imma hindar mare in in gauja Ga irga isa ine, gamotidedun imma twa i da imonarjos us hla iwasnom rinnandans, sle idja i filu, swaswe ni mahta manna usle iþan þa irh þana wig ja inana.; — καὶ ἐλθόντος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ πέραν εἰς τὴν χώραν τῶν γαδαρηνῶν ὑπήντησαν αὐτῷ δύο δαιμονιζόμενοι ἐκ τῶν μνημείων ἐξερχόμενοι, χαλεποὶ λίαν, ὥστε μὴ ἰσχύειν τινὰ παρελθεῖν διὰ τῆς ὁδοῦ ἐκείνης.; — And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
Matthew 8:29: ^CA jah sa i, hropidedun qiþandans: hva uns jah þus, Iesu, sunau gudis? qamt her faur mel balwjan unsis?; — καὶ ἰδοὺ ἔκραξαν λέγοντες, τί ἡμῖν καὶ σοί, υἱὲ τοῦ θεοῦ; ἦλθες ὧδε πρὸ καιροῦ βασανίσαι ἡμᾶς;; — And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
Matthew 8:30: ^CA Wasuh þan fa irra im ha irda swe ine managa ize haldana.; — ἦν δὲ μακρὰν ἀπ' αὐτῶν ἀγέλη χοίρων πολλῶν βοσκομένη.; — And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
Matthew 8:31: ^CA iþ þo skohsla bedun ina qiþandans: jaba i uswa irpis uns, uslaube i uns gale iþan in þo ha irda swe ine.; — οἱ δὲ δαίμονες παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν λέγοντες, εἰ ἐκβάλλεις ἡμᾶς, ἀπόστειλον ἡμᾶς εἰς τὴν ἀγέλην τῶν χοίρων.; — So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
Matthew 8:32: ^CA jah qaþ du im: gaggiþ! iþ e is usgaggandans galiþun in ha irda swe ine; jah sa i, run gawaurhtedun sis alla so ha irda and driuson in mare in jah gadauþnodedun in watnam.; — καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, ὑπάγετε. οἱ δὲ ἐξελθόντες ἀπῆλθον εἰς τοὺς χοίρους: καὶ ἰδοὺ ὥρμησεν πᾶσα ἡ ἀγέλη κατὰ τοῦ κρημνοῦ εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν, καὶ ἀπέθανον ἐν τοῖς ὕδασιν.; — And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
Matthew 8:33: ^CA iþ þa i haldandans gaþlauhun jah gale iþandans gata ihun in baurg all bi þans da imonarjans.; — οἱ δὲ βόσκοντες ἔφυγον, καὶ ἀπελθόντες εἰς τὴν πόλιν ἀπήγγειλαν πάντα καὶ τὰ τῶν δαιμονιζομένων.; — And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
Matthew 8:34: ^CA jah sa i, alla so baurgs usiddja wiþra Iesu, jah gasa ihvandans ina bedun e i usliþi hindar markos ize.; — καὶ ἰδοὺ πᾶσα ἡ πόλις ἐξῆλθεν εἰς ὑπάντησιν τῷ ἰησοῦ, καὶ ἰδόντες αὐτὸν παρεκάλεσαν ὅπως μεταβῇ ἀπὸ τῶν ὁρίων αὐτῶν.; — And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

Matthew 9:3: ^CA þaruh suma i þize bok arje qeþun in sis silbam: sa wajamere iþ.; — καὶ ἰδού τινες τῶν γραμματέων εἶπαν ἐν ἑαυτοῖς, οὗτος βλασφημεῖ.; — And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
Matthew 9:4: ^CA jah witands Iesus þos mitonins ize qaþ: duhve jus mitoþ ubila in ha irtam izwara im?; — καὶ ἰδὼν ὁ ἰησοῦς τὰς ἐνθυμήσεις αὐτῶν εἶπεν, ἱνατί ἐνθυμεῖσθε πονηρὰ ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν;; — And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
Matthew 9:5: ^CA hvaþar ist ra ihtis azetizo qiþan: afletanda þus frawaurhte is, þau qiþan: urre is jah gagg?; — τί γάρ ἐστιν εὐκοπώτερον, εἰπεῖν, ἀφίενταί σου αἱ ἁμαρτίαι, ἢ εἰπεῖν, ἔγειρε καὶ περιπάτει;; — For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
Matthew 9:6: ^CA Aþþan e i wite iþ þate i waldufni haba iþ sa sunus mans ana a irþa i afle itan frawaurhtins, þanuh qaþ du þamma usliþin: urre isands nim þana ligr þe inana jah gagg in gard þe inana.; — ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε ὅτι ἐξουσίαν ἔχει ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας – τότε λέγει τῷ παραλυτικῷ, ἐγερθεὶς ἆρόν σου τὴν κλίνην καὶ ὕπαγε εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου.; — But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
Matthew 9:7: ^CA jah urre isands gala iþ in gard se inana.; — καὶ ἐγερθεὶς ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ.; — And he arose, and departed to his house.
Matthew 9:8: ^CA gasa ihvande ins þan manage ins ohtedun sildale i kjandans jah mi k ilidedun guþ þana gibandan waldufni swale i k ata mannam.; — ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ ὄχλοι ἐφοβήθησαν καὶ ἐδόξασαν τὸν θεὸν τὸν δόντα ἐξουσίαν τοιαύτην τοῖς ἀνθρώποις.; — But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
Matthew 9:9: ^CA jah þa irhle iþands Iesus ja inþro gasahv mannan sitandan at mota i, Maþþa iu ha itanana, jah qaþ du imma: la iste i afar mis. jah usstandands iddja afar imma.; — καὶ παράγων ὁ ἰησοῦς ἐκεῖθεν εἶδεν ἄνθρωπον καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον, μαθθαῖον λεγόμενον, καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ, ἀκολούθει μοι. καὶ ἀναστὰς ἠκολούθησεν αὐτῷ.; — And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
Matthew 9:10: ^CA jah warþ, biþe is ana kumbida in garda, jah sa i, managa i motarjos jah frawaurhta i qimandans miþana kumbidedun Iesua jah siponjam is.; — καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτοῦ ἀνακειμένου ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ, καὶ ἰδοὺ πολλοὶ τελῶναι καὶ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐλθόντες συνανέκειντο τῷ ἰησοῦ καὶ τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ.; — And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
Matthew 9:11: ^CA jah gaumjandans Fare isa i e is qeþun du þa im siponjam is: duhve miþ motarjam jah frawaurhta im matjiþ sa la isare is izwar?; — καὶ ἰδόντες οἱ φαρισαῖοι ἔλεγον τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ, διὰ τί μετὰ τῶν τελωνῶν καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν ἐσθίει ὁ διδάσκαλος ὑμῶν;; — And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
Matthew 9:12: ^CA iþ Iesus gahausjands qaþ du im: ni þaurbun ha ila i le k e is, a k þa i unha ili habandans.; — ὁ δὲ ἀκούσας εἶπεν, οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν οἱ ἰσχύοντες ἰατροῦ ἀλλ' οἱ κακῶς ἔχοντες.; — But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Matthew 9:13: ^CA Aþþan gagga iþ, ganimiþ hva sija i: armaha irtiþa wiljau jah ni hunsl; niþ~þan qam laþon uswaurhtans, a k frawaurhtans.; — πορευθέντες δὲ μάθετε τί ἐστιν, ἔλεος θέλω καὶ οὐ θυσίαν: οὐ γὰρ ἦλθον καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλὰ ἁμαρτωλούς.; — But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 9:14: ^CA þanuh atiddjedun siponjos Iohannes qiþandans: duhve we is jah Fare isa i e is fastam filu, iþ þa i siponjos þe ina i ni fastand?; — τότε προσέρχονται αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ ἰωάννου λέγοντες, διὰ τί ἡμεῖς καὶ οἱ φαρισαῖοι νηστεύομεν [πολλά], οἱ δὲ μαθηταί σου οὐ νηστεύουσιν;; — Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
