Matthew 5:47: ^CA jah jabai goleiþ þ a ns frijon ds izwara ns þ atain ei, hve ma n agizo taujiþ? niu jah motarjos þ ata samo tauja n d?; — καὶ ἐὰν ἀσπάσησθε τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν μόνον, τί περισσὸν ποιεῖτε; οὐχὶ καὶ οἱ ἐθνικοὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ποιοῦσιν;; — And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Matthew 5:48: ^CA sijaiþ nu jus fullatojai, swaswe atta izwar sa in himin am fullatojis ist.; — ἔσεσθε οὖν ὑμεῖς τέλειοι ὡς ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος τέλειός ἐστιν.; — Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Ame n, qiþ a izwis þ atei haba n d mizdon sein a.; — καὶ ὅταν προσεύχησθε, οὐκ ἔσεσθε ὡς οἱ ὑποκριταί: ὅτι φιλοῦσιν ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς καὶ ἐν ταῖς γωνίαις τῶν πλατειῶν ἑστῶτες προσεύχεσθαι, ὅπως φανῶσιν τοῖς ἀνθρώποις: ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀπέχουσιν τὸν μισθὸν αὐτῶν.; — And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:7: ^CA bidja n d a nsuþ~þ a n ni filuwaurdjaiþ, swaswe þ ai þiudo; þugkeiþ im auk ei in filuwaurd ein sein ai a n dhausjain d au.; — προσευχόμενοι δὲ μὴ βατταλογήσητε ὥσπερ οἱ ἐθνικοί, δοκοῦσιν γὰρ ὅτι ἐν τῇ πολυλογίᾳ αὐτῶν εἰσακουσθήσονται.; — But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew 6:8: ^CA ni galeikoþ nu þ aim; wait auk atta izwar þizei jus þ aurbuþ, faurþizei jus bidjaiþ in a.; — μὴ οὖν ὁμοιωθῆτε αὐτοῖς, οἶδεν γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὧν χρείαν ἔχετε πρὸ τοῦ ὑμᾶς αἰτῆσαι αὐτόν.; — Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Matthew 6:9: ^CA swa nu bidjaiþ jus: atta unsar þu in himin am, weihn ai n amo þ ein.; — οὕτως οὖν προσεύχεσθε ὑμεῖς: πάτερ ἡμῶν ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς, ἁγιασθήτω τὸ ὄνομά σου,; — After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 6:10: ^CA qimai þiudin assus þ eins. wairþ ai wilja þ eins, swe in himin a jah a n a airþ ai.; — ἐλθέτω ἡ βασιλεία σου, γενηθήτω τὸ θέλημά σου, ὡς ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς.; — Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:11: ^CA hlaif unsara n a þ a n a sintein a n gif uns himma d aga.; — τὸν ἄρτον ἡμῶν τὸν ἐπιούσιον δὸς ἡμῖν σήμερον:; — Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:12: ^CA jah aflet uns þ atei skula ns sijaima, swaswe jah weis afletam þ aim skulam unsaraim.; — καὶ ἄφες ἡμῖν τὰ ὀφειλήματα ἡμῶν, ὡς καὶ ἡμεῖς ἀφήκαμεν τοῖς ὀφειλέταις ἡμῶν:; — And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Matthew 6:13: ^CA jah ni briggais uns in fraistubnjai, ak lausei uns af þ amma ubilin; unte þ ein a ist þiud a ngardi jah mahts jah wulþus in aiwins. ame n.; — καὶ μὴ εἰσενέγκῃς ἡμᾶς εἰς πειρασμόν, ἀλλὰ ῥῦσαι ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ τοῦ πονηροῦ.; — And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Matthew 6:14: ^CA unte jabai afletiþ ma n n am missa d e dins ize, afletiþ jah izwis atta izwar sa ufar himin am.; — ἐὰν γὰρ ἀφῆτε τοῖς ἀνθρώποις τὰ παραπτώματα αὐτῶν, ἀφήσει καὶ ὑμῖν ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος:; — For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Matthew 6:15: ^CA iþ jabai ni afletiþ ma n n am missa d e dins ize, ni þ au atta izwar afletiþ missa d e dins izwaros.; — ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀφῆτε τοῖς ἀνθρώποις, οὐδὲ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ἀφήσει τὰ παραπτώματα ὑμῶν.; — But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matthew 6:16: ^CA a þ þ a n biþ e fastaiþ, ni wairþ aiþ swaswe þ ai liuta ns gaurai; frawardja n d auk a n dwairþja sein a, ei gasaihvain d au ma n n am fasta n d a ns. ame n, qiþ a izwis, þ atei a n d n emun mizdon sein a.; — ὅταν δὲ νηστεύητε, μὴ γίνεσθε ὡς οἱ ὑποκριταὶ σκυθρωποί, ἀφανίζουσιν γὰρ τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν ὅπως φανῶσιν τοῖς ἀνθρώποις νηστεύοντες: ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀπέχουσιν τὸν μισθὸν αὐτῶν.; — Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:17: ^CA iþ þu fasta n ds salbo haubiþ þ ein jah ludja þ ein a þwah,; — σὺ δὲ νηστεύων ἄλειψαί σου τὴν κεφαλὴν καὶ τὸ πρόσωπόν σου νίψαι,; — But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
Matthew 6:18: ^CA ei ni gasaihvaizau ma n n am fasta n ds, ak attin þ ein amma þ amma in fulhsnja, jah atta þ eins sa ei saihviþ in fulhsnja, usgibiþ þus.; — ὅπως μὴ φανῇς τοῖς ἀνθρώποις νηστεύων ἀλλὰ τῷ πατρί σου τῷ ἐν τῷ κρυφαίῳ: καὶ ὁ πατήρ σου ὁ βλέπων ἐν τῷ κρυφαίῳ ἀποδώσει σοι.; — That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:19: ^CA ni huzdjaiþ izwis huzd a a n a airþ ai, þ arei malo jah nidwa fraward eiþ, jah þ arei þiubos ufgraba n d jah hlifa n d.; — μὴ θησαυρίζετε ὑμῖν θησαυροὺς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅπου σὴς καὶ βρῶσις ἀφανίζει, καὶ ὅπου κλέπται διορύσσουσιν καὶ κλέπτουσιν:; — Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Matthew 6:21: ^CA þ arei auk ist huzd izwar, þ aruh ist jah hairto izwar.; — ὅπου γάρ ἐστιν ὁ θησαυρός σου, ἐκεῖ ἔσται καὶ ἡ καρδία σου.; — For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 6:22: ^CA lukarn leikis ist augo: jabai nu augo þ ein ainfalþ ist, allata leik þ ein liuha d ein wairþiþ;; — ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός. ἐὰν οὖν ᾖ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἁπλοῦς, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου φωτεινὸν ἔσται:; — The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Matthew 6:23: ^CA iþ jabai augo þ ein unsel ist, allata leik þ ein riqizein wairþiþ. jabai nu liuha þ þ ata in þus riqiz ist, þ ata riqiz hva n filu!; — ἐὰν δὲ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρὸς ᾖ, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου σκοτεινὸν ἔσται. εἰ οὖν τὸ φῶς τὸ ἐν σοὶ σκότος ἐστίν, τὸ σκότος πόσον.; — But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Matthew 6:24: ^CA ni ma n n a mag twaim fraujam skalkinon; unte jabai fijaiþ ain a n a, jah a n þ ara n a frijoþ; aiþ þ au ain amma ufhauseiþ, iþ a n þ aramma fraka n n. ni maguþ gud a skalkinon jah mammonin.; — οὐδεὶς δύναται δυσὶ κυρίοις δουλεύειν: ἢ γὰρ τὸν ἕνα μισήσει καὶ τὸν ἕτερον ἀγαπήσει, ἢ ἑνὸς ἀνθέξεται καὶ τοῦ ἑτέρου καταφρονήσει: οὐ δύνασθε θεῷ δουλεύειν καὶ μαμωνᾷ.; — No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Matthew 6:25: ^CA Duþ þ e qiþ a izwis: ni maurn aiþ saiwalai izwarai hva matjaiþ jah hva drigkaiþ, nih leika izwaramma hve wasjaiþ; niu saiwala mais ist fod ein ai jah leik wastjom?; — διὰ τοῦτο λέγω ὑμῖν, μὴ μεριμνᾶτε τῇ ψυχῇ ὑμῶν τί φάγητε [ἢ τί πίητε,] μηδὲ τῷ σώματι ὑμῶν τί ἐνδύσησθε: οὐχὶ ἡ ψυχὴ πλεῖόν ἐστιν τῆς τροφῆς καὶ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ ἐνδύματος;; — Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Matthew 6:26: ^CA insaihviþ du fuglam himinis, þ ei ni saia n d nih sn eiþ a n d, nih lisa n d in ba nstins, jah atta izwar sa ufar himin am fod eiþ ins. niu jus mais wulþriza ns sijuþ þ aim?; — ἐμβλέψατε εἰς τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ὅτι οὐ σπείρουσιν οὐδὲ θερίζουσιν οὐδὲ συνάγουσιν εἰς ἀποθήκας, καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος τρέφει αὐτά: οὐχ ὑμεῖς μᾶλλον διαφέρετε αὐτῶν;; — Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Matthew 6:27: ^CA iþ hvas izwara maurn a n ds mag a n a auka n a n a wahstu sein a n a alein a ain a?; — τίς δὲ ἐξ ὑμῶν μεριμνῶν δύναται προσθεῖναι ἐπὶ τὴν ἡλικίαν αὐτοῦ πῆχυν ἕνα;; — Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Matthew 6:28: ^CA jah bi wastjos hva saurgaiþ? gakun n aiþ bloma ns haiþjos, hvaiwa wahsja n d; nih arbaidja n d nih spin n a n d.; — καὶ περὶ ἐνδύματος τί μεριμνᾶτε; καταμάθετε τὰ κρίνα τοῦ ἀγροῦ πῶς αὐξάνουσιν: οὐ κοπιῶσιν οὐδὲ νήθουσιν:; — And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Matthew 6:29: ^CA qiþuh þ a n izwis þ atei nih Saulaumon in allamma wulþ au sein amma gawasid a sik swe ains þize.; — λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐδὲ σολομὼν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ δόξῃ αὐτοῦ περιεβάλετο ὡς ἓν τούτων.; — And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Matthew 6:30: ^CA jah þ a n d e þ ata hawi haiþjos himma d aga wisa n do jah gistra d agis in auhn galagiþ guþ swa wasjiþ, hvaiwa mais izwis leitil galaubja n d a ns?; — εἰ δὲ τὸν χόρτον τοῦ ἀγροῦ σήμερον ὄντα καὶ αὔριον εἰς κλίβανον βαλλόμενον ὁ θεὸς οὕτως ἀμφιέννυσιν, οὐ πολλῷ μᾶλλον ὑμᾶς, ὀλιγόπιστοι;; — Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 6:31: ^CA ni maurn aiþ nu qiþ a n d a ns: hva matjam aiþ þ au hva drigkam aiþ þ au hve wasjaima?; — μὴ οὖν μεριμνήσητε λέγοντες, τί φάγωμεν; ἤ, τί πίωμεν; ἤ, τί περιβαλώμεθα;; — Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:32: ^CA all auk þ ata þiudos sokja n d; waituh þ a n atta izwar sa ufar himin am þ atei þ aurbuþ . . . .; — πάντα γὰρ ταῦτα τὰ ἔθνη ἐπιζητοῦσιν: οἶδεν γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος ὅτι χρῄζετε τούτων ἁπάντων.; — (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Matthew 7:12: ^CA . . . . taujain a izwis ma ns, swa jah jus taujaiþ im: þ ata auk ist witoþ jah praufeteis.; — πάντα οὖν ὅσα ἐὰν θέλητε ἵνα ποιῶσιν ὑμῖν οἱ ἄνθρωποι, οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς ποιεῖτε αὐτοῖς: οὗτος γάρ ἐστιν ὁ νόμος καὶ οἱ προφῆται.; — Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Matthew 7:13: ^CA in ngaggaiþ þ airh aggwu d aur, unte braid d aur jah rums wigs sa brigga n d a in fralustai, jah ma n agai sin d þ ai in ngaleiþ a n d a ns þ airh þ ata.; — εἰσέλθατε διὰ τῆς στενῆς πύλης: ὅτι πλατεῖα ἡ πύλη καὶ εὐρύχωρος ἡ ὁδὸς ἡ ἀπάγουσα εἰς τὴν ἀπώλειαν, καὶ πολλοί εἰσιν οἱ εἰσερχόμενοι δι' αὐτῆς:; — Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Matthew 7:14: ^CA hva n aggwu þ ata d aur jah þraiha ns wigs sa brigga n d a in libain ai, jah fawai sin d þ ai bigita n d a ns þ a n a.; — τί στενὴ ἡ πύλη καὶ τεθλιμμένη ἡ ὁδὸς ἡ ἀπάγουσα εἰς τὴν ζωήν, καὶ ὀλίγοι εἰσὶν οἱ εὑρίσκοντες αὐτήν.; — Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:15: ^CA atsaihviþ swe þ auh faura liugn apraufetum þ aim izei qima n d at izwis in wastjom lambe, iþ in n a þro sin d wulfos wilwa n d a ns.; — προσέχετε ἀπὸ τῶν ψευδοπροφητῶν, οἵτινες ἔρχονται πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν ἐνδύμασιν προβάτων, ἔσωθεν δέ εἰσιν λύκοι ἅρπαγες.; — Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:16: ^CA bi akra n am ize ufkun n aiþ ins. ibai lisa n d[a] af þ aurnum wein abasja aiþ þ au af wiga d einom smakka ns?; — ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς: μήτι συλλέγουσιν ἀπὸ ἀκανθῶν σταφυλὰς ἢ ἀπὸ τριβόλων σῦκα;; — Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Matthew 7:17: ^CA swa all bagme god aize akra n a god a gataujiþ, iþ sa ubila bagms akra n a ubila gataujiþ.; — οὕτως πᾶν δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖ, τὸ δὲ σαπρὸν δένδρον καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖ:; — Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Matthew 7:18: ^CA ni mag bagms þiuþ eigs akra n a ubila gatauja n, nih bagms ubils akra n a þiuþ eiga gatauja n.; — οὐ δύναται δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖν, οὐδὲ δένδρον σαπρὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖν.; — A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 7:19: ^CA all bagme ni tauja n d a n e akra n god usmaita d a jah in fon atlagja d a.; — πᾶν δένδρον μὴ ποιοῦν καρπὸν καλὸν ἐκκόπτεται καὶ εἰς πῦρ βάλλεται.; — Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Matthew 7:20: ^CA þ a n nu bi akra n am ize ufkun n aiþ ins.; — ἄρα γε ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς.; — Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:21: ^CA ni hvazuh sa ei qiþiþ mis: frauja, frauja! in ngaleiþiþ in þiud a ngardja himin e, ak sa tauja n ds wilja n attins meinis þis in himin am.; — οὐ πᾶς ὁ λέγων μοι, κύριε κύριε, εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν, ἀλλ' ὁ ποιῶν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.; — Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22: ^CA ma n agai qiþ a n d mis in jain amma d aga: frauja, frauja! niu þ ein amma n amin praufetid e dum, jah þ ein amma n amin unhulþons uswaurpum, jah þ ein amma n amin mahtins mikilos gatawid e dum?; — πολλοὶ ἐροῦσίν μοι ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ, κύριε κύριε, οὐ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι ἐπροφητεύσαμεν, καὶ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι δαιμόνια ἐξεβάλομεν, καὶ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι δυνάμεις πολλὰς ἐποιήσαμεν;; — Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23: ^CA jah þ a n a n dhaita im þ atei ni hva nhun kun þ a izwis: afleiþiþ fairra mis, jus waurkja n d a ns unsibjon a.; — καὶ τότε ὁμολογήσω αὐτοῖς ὅτι οὐδέποτε ἔγνων ὑμᾶς: ἀποχωρεῖτε ἀπ' ἐμοῦ οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν.; — And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:24: ^CA hvazuh nu sa ei hauseiþ waurd a mein a jah taujiþ þo, galeiko in a waira frod amma, sa ei gatimrid a razn sein a n a stain a.; — πᾶς οὖν ὅστις ἀκούει μου τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ ποιεῖ αὐτοὺς ὁμοιωθήσεται ἀνδρὶ φρονίμῳ, ὅστις ᾠκοδόμησεν αὐτοῦ τὴν οἰκίαν ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν.; — Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Matthew 7:26: ^CA jah hvazuh sa ei hauseiþ waurd a mein a jah ni taujiþ þo, galeikod a ma n n dwalamma, sa ei gatimrid a razn sein a n a malmin.; — καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἀκούων μου τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ μὴ ποιῶν αὐτοὺς ὁμοιωθήσεται ἀνδρὶ μωρῷ, ὅστις ᾠκοδόμησεν αὐτοῦ τὴν οἰκίαν ἐπὶ τὴν ἄμμον.; — And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Matthew 7:28: ^CA jah warþ, þ a n ustauh Iesus þo waurd a, biabrid e dun ma n ageins a n a laisein ai is.; — καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ ἰησοῦς τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐξεπλήσσοντο οἱ ὄχλοι ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ:; — And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
Matthew 7:29: ^CA was auk laisja n ds ins swe waldufni haba n ds, jah ni swaswe bokarjos.; — ἦν γὰρ διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ὡς ἐξουσίαν ἔχων καὶ οὐχ ὡς οἱ γραμματεῖς αὐτῶν.; — For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Matthew 8:1: ^CA Dala þ þ a n atgagga n din imma af fairgunja, laistid e dun afar imma iumjons ma n agos.; — καταβάντος δὲ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ ὄχλοι πολλοί.; — When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
Matthew 8:2: ^CA jah sai, ma n n a þrutsfill haba n ds durin n a n ds inwait in a qiþ a n ds: frauja, jabai wileis, magt mik gahrainja n.; — καὶ ἰδοὺ λεπρὸς προσελθὼν προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγων, κύριε, ἐὰν θέλῃς δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι.; — And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Matthew 8:3: ^CA jah ufrakja n ds ha n du attaitok imma qiþ a n ds: wiljau, wairþ hrains! jah suns hrain warþ þ ata þrutsfill is.; — καὶ ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα ἥψατο αὐτοῦ λέγων, θέλω, καθαρίσθητι: καὶ εὐθέως ἐκαθαρίσθη αὐτοῦ ἡ λέπρα.; — And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Matthew 8:4: ^CA jah qa þ imma Iesus: saihv ei ma n n ni qiþ ais, ak gagg, þuk silba n ataugei gudjin jah atbair giba þoei a n abauþ Moses du weitwodiþ ai im.; — καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς, ὅρα μηδενὶ εἴπῃς, ἀλλὰ ὕπαγε σεαυτὸν δεῖξον τῷ ἱερεῖ, καὶ προσένεγκον τὸ δῶρον ὃ προσέταξεν μωϋσῆς, εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς.; — And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Matthew 8:5: ^CA afaruh þ a n þ ata in n atgagga n din imma in Kafarn aum, duatid dja imma hun d afa þs bidja n ds in a; — εἰσελθόντος δὲ αὐτοῦ εἰς καφαρναοὺμ προσῆλθεν αὐτῷ ἑκατόνταρχος παρακαλῶν αὐτὸν; — And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
Matthew 8:6: ^CA jah qiþ a n ds: frauja, þiumagus meins ligiþ in gard a usliþ a, harduba balwiþs.; — καὶ λέγων, κύριε, ὁ παῖς μου βέβληται ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ παραλυτικός, δεινῶς βασανιζόμενος.; — And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
Matthew 8:7: ^CA jah qa þ du imma Iesus: ik qima n ds gahailja in a.; — καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ, ἐγὼ ἐλθὼν θεραπεύσω αὐτόν.; — And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
Matthew 8:8: ^CA jah a n dhafja n ds sa hun d afa þs qa þ: frauja, ni im wairþs ei uf hrot mein in ngaggais, ak þ atain ei qiþ waurd a jah gahailniþ sa þiumagus meins.; — καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ ἑκατόνταρχος ἔφη, κύριε, οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς ἵνα μου ὑπὸ τὴν στέγην εἰσέλθῃς: ἀλλὰ μόνον εἰπὲ λόγῳ, καὶ ἰαθήσεται ὁ παῖς μου.; — The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
Matthew 8:9: ^CA jah auk ik ma n n a im haba n ds uf waldufnja mein amma ga drauhtins jah qiþ a du þ amma: gagg, jah gaggiþ; jah a n þ aramma: qim, jah qimiþ; jah du skalka mein amma: tawei þ ata, jah taujiþ.; — καὶ γὰρ ἐγὼ ἄνθρωπός εἰμι ὑπὸ ἐξουσίαν, ἔχων ὑπ' ἐμαυτὸν στρατιώτας, καὶ λέγω τούτῳ, πορεύθητι, καὶ πορεύεται, καὶ ἄλλῳ, ἔρχου, καὶ ἔρχεται, καὶ τῷ δούλῳ μου, ποίησον τοῦτο, καὶ ποιεῖ.; — For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
Matthew 8:10: ^CA gahausja n ds þ a n Iesus sild aleikid a jah qa þ du þ aim afarlaistja n d am: ame n, qiþ a izwis, ni in Isra ela swalaud a galaubein bigat.; — ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς ἐθαύμασεν καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς ἀκολουθοῦσιν, ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, παρ' οὐδενὶ τοσαύτην πίστιν ἐν τῷ ἰσραὴλ εὗρον.; — When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Matthew 8:11: ^CA a þ þ a n qiþ a izwis þ atei ma n agai fram urrunsa jah saggqa qima n d, jah a n akumbja n d miþ Abrahama jah Isaka jah Iakoba in þiud a ngardjai himin e:; — λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι πολλοὶ ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ δυσμῶν ἥξουσιν καὶ ἀνακλιθήσονται μετὰ ἀβραὰμ καὶ ἰσαὰκ καὶ ἰακὼβ ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν:; — And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 8:12: ^CA iþ þ ai sunjus þiud a ngardjos uswairpa n d a in riqis þ ata hin dumisto; jain ar wairþiþ grets jah krusts tun þiwe.; — οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ τῆς βασιλείας ἐκβληθήσονται εἰς τὸ σκότος τὸ ἐξώτερον: ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁ κλαυθμὸς καὶ ὁ βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων.; — But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 8:13: ^CA jah qa þ Iesus þ amma hun d afa d a: gagg, jah swaswe galaubid es wairþ ai þus. jah gahailnod a sa þiumagus is in jain ai hveilai.; — καὶ εἶπεν ὁ ἰησοῦς τῷ ἑκατοντάρχῃ, ὕπαγε, ὡς ἐπίστευσας γενηθήτω σοι. καὶ ἰάθη ὁ παῖς [αὐτοῦ] ἐν τῇ ὥρᾳ ἐκείνῃ.; — And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
Matthew 8:14: ^CA jah qima n ds Iesus in gard a Paitraus, jah gasahv swaihron is liga n d ein in heitom.; — καὶ ἐλθὼν ὁ ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν πέτρου εἶδεν τὴν πενθερὰν αὐτοῦ βεβλημένην καὶ πυρέσσουσαν:; — And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.
Matthew 8:15: ^CA jah attaitok ha n d au izos jah aflailot ija so heito; jah urrais jah a n dbahtid a imma.; — καὶ ἥψατο τῆς χειρὸς αὐτῆς, καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτὴν ὁ πυρετός: καὶ ἠγέρθη καὶ διηκόνει αὐτῷ.; — And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
Matthew 8:16: ^CA at a n d a n ahtja þ a n waurþ a n amma, atberun du imma d aimon arja ns ma n aga ns, jah uswarp þ a ns ahma ns waurd a jah alla ns þ a ns ubil haba n d a ns gahailid a,; — ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ δαιμονιζομένους πολλούς: καὶ ἐξέβαλεν τὰ πνεύματα λόγῳ, καὶ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ἐθεράπευσεν:; — When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
Matthew 8:17: ^CA ei usfullnod e di þ ata gamelido þ airh Esaïa n praufetu qiþ a n d a n: sa unmahtins unsaros usn am jah sauhtins usbar.; — ὅπως πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ ἠσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος, αὐτὸς τὰς ἀσθενείας ἡμῶν ἔλαβεν καὶ τὰς νόσους ἐβάστασεν.; — That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 8:18: ^CA gasaihva n ds þ a n Iesus ma n aga ns hiuhma ns bi sik, haihait galeiþ a n siponja ns hin d ar marein.; — ἰδὼν δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς ὄχλον περὶ αὐτὸν ἐκέλευσεν ἀπελθεῖν εἰς τὸ πέραν.; — Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
Matthew 8:19: ^CA jah duatgagga n ds ains bokareis qa þ du imma: laisari, laistja þuk, þishva duh þ a d ei gaggis.; — καὶ προσελθὼν εἷς γραμματεὺς εἶπεν αὐτῷ, διδάσκαλε, ἀκολουθήσω σοι ὅπου ἐὰν ἀπέρχῃ.; — And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
Matthew 8:20: ^CA jah qa þ du imma Iesus: fauhons grobos aigun, jah fuglos himinis sitla ns, iþ sunus ma ns ni habaiþ hvar haubiþ sein a n ahn aiwjai.; — καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς, αἱ ἀλώπεκες φωλεοὺς ἔχουσιν καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατασκηνώσεις, ὁ δὲ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου οὐκ ἔχει ποῦ τὴν κεφαλὴν κλίνῃ.; — And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Matthew 8:22: ^CA iþ Iesus qa þ du imma: laistei afar mis jah let þ a ns d auþ a ns <ga>filha n sein a ns d auþ a ns.; — ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς λέγει αὐτῷ, ἀκολούθει μοι, καὶ ἄφες τοὺς νεκροὺς θάψαι τοὺς ἑαυτῶν νεκρούς.; — But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

Matthew 8:24: ^CA jah sai, wegs mikils warþ in marein, swaswe þ ata skip gahuliþ wairþ a n fram wegim; iþ is saislep.; — καὶ ἰδοὺ σεισμὸς μέγας ἐγένετο ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ, ὥστε τὸ πλοῖον καλύπτεσθαι ὑπὸ τῶν κυμάτων: αὐτὸς δὲ ἐκάθευδεν.; — And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
Matthew 8:25: ^CA jah duatgagga n d a ns siponjos is urraisid e dun in a qiþ a n d a ns: frauja, n asei unsis, fraqistn am.; — καὶ προσελθόντες ἤγειραν αὐτὸν λέγοντες, κύριε, σῶσον, ἀπολλύμεθα.; — And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
Matthew 8:26: ^CA jah qa þ du im Iesus: hva faurhteiþ, leitil galaubja n d a ns! þ a nuh urreisa n ds gasok win d am jah marein, jah warþ wis mikil.; — καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς, τί δειλοί ἐστε, ὀλιγόπιστοι; τότε ἐγερθεὶς ἐπετίμησεν τοῖς ἀνέμοις καὶ τῇ θαλάσσῃ, καὶ ἐγένετο γαλήνη μεγάλη.; — And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Matthew 8:27: ^CA iþ þ ai ma ns sild aleikid e dun qiþ a n d a ns: hvileiks ist sa, ei jah win dos jah marei ufhausja n d imma?; — οἱ δὲ ἄνθρωποι ἐθαύμασαν λέγοντες, ποταπός ἐστιν οὗτος ὅτι καὶ οἱ ἄνεμοι καὶ ἡ θάλασσα αὐτῷ ὑπακούουσιν;; — But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
Matthew 8:28: ^CA jah qima n din imma hin d ar marein in gauja Gairgaisain e, gamotid e dun imma twai d aimon arjos us hlaiwasnom rin n a n d a ns, sleidjai filu, swaswe ni mahta ma n n a usleiþ a n þ airh þ a n a wig jain a n a.; — καὶ ἐλθόντος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ πέραν εἰς τὴν χώραν τῶν γαδαρηνῶν ὑπήντησαν αὐτῷ δύο δαιμονιζόμενοι ἐκ τῶν μνημείων ἐξερχόμενοι, χαλεποὶ λίαν, ὥστε μὴ ἰσχύειν τινὰ παρελθεῖν διὰ τῆς ὁδοῦ ἐκείνης.; — And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
Matthew 8:29: ^CA jah sai, hropid e dun qiþ a n d a ns: hva uns jah þus, Iesu, sun au gudis? qamt her faur mel balwja n unsis?; — καὶ ἰδοὺ ἔκραξαν λέγοντες, τί ἡμῖν καὶ σοί, υἱὲ τοῦ θεοῦ; ἦλθες ὧδε πρὸ καιροῦ βασανίσαι ἡμᾶς;; — And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
Matthew 8:30: ^CA Wasuh þ a n fairra im haird a swein e ma n agaize hald a n a.; — ἦν δὲ μακρὰν ἀπ' αὐτῶν ἀγέλη χοίρων πολλῶν βοσκομένη.; — And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
Matthew 8:31: ^CA iþ þo skohsla be dun in a qiþ a n d a ns: jabai uswairpis uns, uslaubei uns galeiþ a n in þo haird a swein e.; — οἱ δὲ δαίμονες παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν λέγοντες, εἰ ἐκβάλλεις ἡμᾶς, ἀπόστειλον ἡμᾶς εἰς τὴν ἀγέλην τῶν χοίρων.; — So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
Matthew 8:32: ^CA jah qa þ du im: gaggiþ! iþ eis usgagga n d a ns galiþun in haird a swein e; jah sai, run gawaurhte dun sis alla so haird a a n d driuson in marein jah ga d auþ nod e dun in watn am.; — καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, ὑπάγετε. οἱ δὲ ἐξελθόντες ἀπῆλθον εἰς τοὺς χοίρους: καὶ ἰδοὺ ὥρμησεν πᾶσα ἡ ἀγέλη κατὰ τοῦ κρημνοῦ εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν, καὶ ἀπέθανον ἐν τοῖς ὕδασιν.; — And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
Matthew 8:33: ^CA iþ þ ai hald a n d a ns ga þlauhun jah galeiþ a n d a ns gataihun in baurg all bi þ a ns d aimon arja ns.; — οἱ δὲ βόσκοντες ἔφυγον, καὶ ἀπελθόντες εἰς τὴν πόλιν ἀπήγγειλαν πάντα καὶ τὰ τῶν δαιμονιζομένων.; — And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
Matthew 8:34: ^CA jah sai, alla so baurgs usid dja wiþra Iesu, jah gasaihva n d a ns in a be dun ei usliþi hin d ar markos ize.; — καὶ ἰδοὺ πᾶσα ἡ πόλις ἐξῆλθεν εἰς ὑπάντησιν τῷ ἰησοῦ, καὶ ἰδόντες αὐτὸν παρεκάλεσαν ὅπως μεταβῇ ἀπὸ τῶν ὁρίων αὐτῶν.; — And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

Matthew 9:2: ^CA þ a nuh atberun du imma usliþ a n a n a ligra liga n d a n. jah gasaihva n ds Iesus galaubein ize qa þ du þ amma usliþin: þrafstei þuk, barnilo! afleta n d a þus frawaurhteis þ einos.; — καὶ ἰδοὺ προσέφερον αὐτῷ παραλυτικὸν ἐπὶ κλίνης βεβλημένον. καὶ ἰδὼν ὁ ἰησοῦς τὴν πίστιν αὐτῶν εἶπεν τῷ παραλυτικῷ, θάρσει, τέκνον: ἀφίενταί σου αἱ ἁμαρτίαι.; — And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
Matthew 9:3: ^CA þ aruh sumai þize bokarje qe þun in sis silbam: sa wajamereiþ.; — καὶ ἰδού τινες τῶν γραμματέων εἶπαν ἐν ἑαυτοῖς, οὗτος βλασφημεῖ.; — And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
Matthew 9:4: ^CA jah wita n ds Iesus þos mitonins ize qa þ: duhve jus mitoþ ubila in hairtam izwaraim?; — καὶ ἰδὼν ὁ ἰησοῦς τὰς ἐνθυμήσεις αὐτῶν εἶπεν, ἱνατί ἐνθυμεῖσθε πονηρὰ ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν;; — And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
Matthew 9:5: ^CA hva þ ar ist raihtis azetizo qiþ a n: afleta n d a þus frawaurhteis, þ au qiþ a n: urreis jah gagg?; — τί γάρ ἐστιν εὐκοπώτερον, εἰπεῖν, ἀφίενταί σου αἱ ἁμαρτίαι, ἢ εἰπεῖν, ἔγειρε καὶ περιπάτει;; — For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
Matthew 9:6: ^CA Aþ þ a n ei witeiþ þ atei waldufni habaiþ sa sunus ma ns a n a airþ ai afleita n frawaurhtins, þ a nuh qa þ du þ amma usliþin: urreisa n ds nim þ a n a ligr þ ein a n a jah gagg in gard þ ein a n a.; — ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε ὅτι ἐξουσίαν ἔχει ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας – τότε λέγει τῷ παραλυτικῷ, ἐγερθεὶς ἆρόν σου τὴν κλίνην καὶ ὕπαγε εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου.; — But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
Matthew 9:7: ^CA jah urreisa n ds galaiþ in gard sein a n a.; — καὶ ἐγερθεὶς ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ.; — And he arose, and departed to his house.
Matthew 9:8: ^CA gasaihva n d eins þ a n ma n ageins ohte dun sild aleikja n d a ns jah mikilid e dun guþ þ a n a giba n d a n waldufni swaleikata ma n n am.; — ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ ὄχλοι ἐφοβήθησαν καὶ ἐδόξασαν τὸν θεὸν τὸν δόντα ἐξουσίαν τοιαύτην τοῖς ἀνθρώποις.; — But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
Matthew 9:9: ^CA jah þ airhleiþ a n ds Iesus jain þro gasahv ma n n a n sita n d a n at motai, Ma þ þ aiu haita n a n a, jah qa þ du imma: laistei afar mis. jah ussta n d a n ds id dja afar imma.; — καὶ παράγων ὁ ἰησοῦς ἐκεῖθεν εἶδεν ἄνθρωπον καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον, μαθθαῖον λεγόμενον, καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ, ἀκολούθει μοι. καὶ ἀναστὰς ἠκολούθησεν αὐτῷ.; — And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
Matthew 9:10: ^CA jah warþ, biþ e is a n akumbid a in gard a, jah sai, ma n agai motarjos jah frawaurhtai qima n d a ns miþ a n akumbid e dun Iesua jah siponjam is.; — καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτοῦ ἀνακειμένου ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ, καὶ ἰδοὺ πολλοὶ τελῶναι καὶ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐλθόντες συνανέκειντο τῷ ἰησοῦ καὶ τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ.; — And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
Matthew 9:11: ^CA jah gaumja n d a ns Fareisaieis qe þun du þ aim siponjam is: duhve miþ motarjam jah frawaurhtaim matjiþ sa laisareis izwar?; — καὶ ἰδόντες οἱ φαρισαῖοι ἔλεγον τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ, διὰ τί μετὰ τῶν τελωνῶν καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν ἐσθίει ὁ διδάσκαλος ὑμῶν;; — And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
