Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:8: ^CA ni gale ikoþ nu þ a im; wa it auk atta izwar þ ize i jus þ aurbuþ, faurþ ize i jus bidja i þ ina.; — μὴ οὖν ὁμοιωθῆτε αὐτοῖς, οἶδεν γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὧν χρείαν ἔχετε πρὸ τοῦ ὑμᾶς αἰτῆσαι αὐτόν.; — Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Matthew 6:10: ^CA qima i þ iudinassus þ e ins. wa irþ a i wilja þ e ins, swe in himina jah ana a irþ a i.; — ἐλθέτω ἡ βασιλεία σου, γενηθήτω τὸ θέλημά σου, ὡς ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς.; — Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:11: ^CA hla if unsarana þ ana sinte inan gif uns himma daga.; — τὸν ἄρτον ἡμῶν τὸν ἐπιούσιον δὸς ἡμῖν σήμερον:; — Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:12: ^CA jah aflet uns þ ate i skulans sija ima, swaswe jah we is afletam þ a im skulam unsara im.; — καὶ ἄφες ἡμῖν τὰ ὀφειλήματα ἡμῶν, ὡς καὶ ἡμεῖς ἀφήκαμεν τοῖς ὀφειλέταις ἡμῶν:; — And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Amen.
Matthew 6:14: ^CA unte jaba i afleti þ mannam missadedins ize, afleti þ jah izwis atta izwar sa ufar himinam.; — ἐὰν γὰρ ἀφῆτε τοῖς ἀνθρώποις τὰ παραπτώματα αὐτῶν, ἀφήσει καὶ ὑμῖν ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος:; — For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:19: ^CA ni huzdja i þ izwis huzda ana a irþ a i, þ are i malo jah nidwa frawarde i þ, jah þ are i þ iubos ufgraband jah hlifand.; — μὴ θησαυρίζετε ὑμῖν θησαυροὺς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅπου σὴς καὶ βρῶσις ἀφανίζει, καὶ ὅπου κλέπται διορύσσουσιν καὶ κλέπτουσιν:; — Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Matthew 6:21: ^CA þ are i auk ist huzd izwar, þ aruh ist jah ha irto izwar.; — ὅπου γάρ ἐστιν ὁ θησαυρός σου, ἐκεῖ ἔσται καὶ ἡ καρδία σου.; — For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 6:22: ^CA lukarn le ikis ist augo: jaba i nu augo þ e in a infalþ ist, allata le ik þ e in liuhade in wa irþ i þ;; — ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός. ἐὰν οὖν ᾖ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἁπλοῦς, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου φωτεινὸν ἔσται:; — The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Matthew 6:23: ^CA i þ jaba i augo þ e in unsel ist, allata le ik þ e in riqize in wa irþ i þ. jaba i nu liuha þ þ ata in þus riqiz ist, þ ata riqiz hvan filu!; — ἐὰν δὲ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρὸς ᾖ, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου σκοτεινὸν ἔσται. εἰ οὖν τὸ φῶς τὸ ἐν σοὶ σκότος ἐστίν, τὸ σκότος πόσον.; — But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
Matthew 6:24: ^CA ni manna mag twa im fraujam skalkinon; unte jaba i fija i þ a inana, jah anþ arana frijoþ; a i þ þ au a inamma ufhause i þ, i þ anþ aramma frakann. ni maguþ guda skalkinon jah mammonin.; — οὐδεὶς δύναται δυσὶ κυρίοις δουλεύειν: ἢ γὰρ τὸν ἕνα μισήσει καὶ τὸν ἕτερον ἀγαπήσει, ἢ ἑνὸς ἀνθέξεται καὶ τοῦ ἑτέρου καταφρονήσει: οὐ δύνασθε θεῷ δουλεύειν καὶ μαμωνᾷ.; — No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Matthew 6:25: ^CA Duþ þ e qi þ a izwis: ni maurna i þ sa iwala i izwara i hva matja i þ jah hva drigka i þ, nih le ika izwaramma hve wasja i þ; niu sa iwala ma is ist fode ina i jah le ik wastjom?; — διὰ τοῦτο λέγω ὑμῖν, μὴ μεριμνᾶτε τῇ ψυχῇ ὑμῶν τί φάγητε [ἢ τί πίητε,] μηδὲ τῷ σώματι ὑμῶν τί ἐνδύσησθε: οὐχὶ ἡ ψυχὴ πλεῖόν ἐστιν τῆς τροφῆς καὶ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ ἐνδύματος;; — Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Matthew 6:26: ^CA insa ihvi þ du fuglam himinis, þ e i ni sa i and nih sne i þ and, nih lisand in banstins, jah atta izwar sa ufar himinam fode i þ ins. niu jus ma is wulþrizans sijuþ þ a im?; — ἐμβλέψατε εἰς τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ὅτι οὐ σπείρουσιν οὐδὲ θερίζουσιν οὐδὲ συνάγουσιν εἰς ἀποθήκας, καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος τρέφει αὐτά: οὐχ ὑμεῖς μᾶλλον διαφέρετε αὐτῶν;; — Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Matthew 6:27: ^CA i þ hvas izwara maurnands mag ana aukan ana wahstu se inana ale ina a ina?; — τίς δὲ ἐξ ὑμῶν μεριμνῶν δύναται προσθεῖναι ἐπὶ τὴν ἡλικίαν αὐτοῦ πῆχυν ἕνα;; — Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Matthew 6:28: ^CA jah bi wastjos hva saurga i þ? gakunna i þ blomans ha i þjos, hva iwa wahsjand; nih arba idjand nih spinnand.; — καὶ περὶ ἐνδύματος τί μεριμνᾶτε; καταμάθετε τὰ κρίνα τοῦ ἀγροῦ πῶς αὐξάνουσιν: οὐ κοπιῶσιν οὐδὲ νήθουσιν:; — And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Matthew 6:29: ^CA qi þuh þ an izwis þ ate i nih Saulaumon in allamma wulþ au se inamma gawasida sik swe a ins þ ize.; — λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐδὲ σολομὼν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ δόξῃ αὐτοῦ περιεβάλετο ὡς ἓν τούτων.; — And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Matthew 6:30: ^CA jah þ ande þ ata hawi ha i þjos himma daga wisando jah gistradagis in auhn galagi þ guþ swa wasji þ, hva iwa ma is izwis le itil galaubjandans?; — εἰ δὲ τὸν χόρτον τοῦ ἀγροῦ σήμερον ὄντα καὶ αὔριον εἰς κλίβανον βαλλόμενον ὁ θεὸς οὕτως ἀμφιέννυσιν, οὐ πολλῷ μᾶλλον ὑμᾶς, ὀλιγόπιστοι;; — Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 6:31: ^CA ni maurna i þ nu qi þ andans: hva matjam a i þ þ au hva drigkam a i þ þ au hve wasja ima?; — μὴ οὖν μεριμνήσητε λέγοντες, τί φάγωμεν; ἤ, τί πίωμεν; ἤ, τί περιβαλώμεθα;; — Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:32: ^CA all auk þ ata þ iudos sokjand; wa ituh þ an atta izwar sa ufar himinam þ ate i þ aurbuþ . . . .; — πάντα γὰρ ταῦτα τὰ ἔθνη ἐπιζητοῦσιν: οἶδεν γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος ὅτι χρῄζετε τούτων ἁπάντων.; — (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Matthew 7:14: ^CA hvan aggwu þ ata daur jah þra ihans wigs sa brigganda in liba ina i, jah fawa i sind þ a i bigitandans þ ana.; — τί στενὴ ἡ πύλη καὶ τεθλιμμένη ἡ ὁδὸς ἡ ἀπάγουσα εἰς τὴν ζωήν, καὶ ὀλίγοι εἰσὶν οἱ εὑρίσκοντες αὐτήν.; — Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:15: ^CA atsa ihvi þ swe þ auh faura liugnapraufetum þ a im ize i qimand at izwis in wastjom lambe, i þ inna þro sind wulfos wilwandans.; — προσέχετε ἀπὸ τῶν ψευδοπροφητῶν, οἵτινες ἔρχονται πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν ἐνδύμασιν προβάτων, ἔσωθεν δέ εἰσιν λύκοι ἅρπαγες.; — Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:16: ^CA bi akranam ize ufkunna i þ ins. iba i lisand[a] af þ aurnum we inabasja a i þ þ au af wigade inom smakkans?; — ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς: μήτι συλλέγουσιν ἀπὸ ἀκανθῶν σταφυλὰς ἢ ἀπὸ τριβόλων σῦκα;; — Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Matthew 7:17: ^CA swa all bagme goda ize akrana goda gatauji þ, i þ sa ubila bagms akrana ubila gatauji þ.; — οὕτως πᾶν δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖ, τὸ δὲ σαπρὸν δένδρον καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖ:; — Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Matthew 7:18: ^CA ni mag bagms þ iuþ e igs akrana ubila gataujan, nih bagms ubils akrana þ iuþ e iga gataujan.; — οὐ δύναται δένδρον ἀγαθὸν καρποὺς πονηροὺς ποιεῖν, οὐδὲ δένδρον σαπρὸν καρποὺς καλοὺς ποιεῖν.; — A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 7:19: ^CA all bagme ni taujandane akran god usma itada jah in fon atlagjada.; — πᾶν δένδρον μὴ ποιοῦν καρπὸν καλὸν ἐκκόπτεται καὶ εἰς πῦρ βάλλεται.; — Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Matthew 7:20: ^CA þ annu bi akranam ize ufkunna i þ ins.; — ἄρα γε ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν αὐτῶν ἐπιγνώσεσθε αὐτούς.; — Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:21: ^CA ni hvazuh sa e i qi þ i þ mis: frauja, frauja! inngale i þ i þ in þ iudangardja himine, ak sa taujands wiljan attins me inis þ is in himinam.; — οὐ πᾶς ὁ λέγων μοι, κύριε κύριε, εἰσελεύσεται εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τῶν οὐρανῶν, ἀλλ' ὁ ποιῶν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός μου τοῦ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.; — Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22: ^CA managa i qi þ and mis in ja inamma daga: frauja, frauja! niu þ e inamma namin praufetidedum, jah þ e inamma namin unhulþons uswaurpum, jah þ e inamma namin mahtins mikilos gatawidedum?; — πολλοὶ ἐροῦσίν μοι ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ, κύριε κύριε, οὐ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι ἐπροφητεύσαμεν, καὶ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι δαιμόνια ἐξεβάλομεν, καὶ τῷ σῷ ὀνόματι δυνάμεις πολλὰς ἐποιήσαμεν;; — Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23: ^CA jah þ an andha ita im þ ate i ni hvanhun kunþ a izwis: afle i þ i þ fa irra mis, jus waurkjandans unsibjona.; — καὶ τότε ὁμολογήσω αὐτοῖς ὅτι οὐδέποτε ἔγνων ὑμᾶς: ἀποχωρεῖτε ἀπ' ἐμοῦ οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν.; — And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:24: ^CA hvazuh nu sa e i hause i þ waurda me ina jah tauji þ þo, gale iko ina wa ira frodamma, sa e i gatimrida razn se in ana sta ina.; — πᾶς οὖν ὅστις ἀκούει μου τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ ποιεῖ αὐτοὺς ὁμοιωθήσεται ἀνδρὶ φρονίμῳ, ὅστις ᾠκοδόμησεν αὐτοῦ τὴν οἰκίαν ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν.; — Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Matthew 7:26: ^CA jah hvazuh sa e i hause i þ waurda me ina jah ni tauji þ þo, gale ikoda mann dwalamma, sa e i gatimrida razn se in ana malmin.; — καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἀκούων μου τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ μὴ ποιῶν αὐτοὺς ὁμοιωθήσεται ἀνδρὶ μωρῷ, ὅστις ᾠκοδόμησεν αὐτοῦ τὴν οἰκίαν ἐπὶ τὴν ἄμμον.; — And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Matthew 7:28: ^CA jah warþ, þ an ustauh Iesus þo waurda, bi abridedun manage ins ana la ise ina i is.; — καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ ἰησοῦς τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐξεπλήσσοντο οἱ ὄχλοι ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ:; — And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Matthew 8:8: ^CA jah andhafjands sa hundafa þs qa þ: frauja, ni im wa irþs e i uf hrot me in inngagga is, ak þ ata ine i qi þ waurda jah gaha ilni þ sa þ iumagus me ins.; — καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ ἑκατόνταρχος ἔφη, κύριε, οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς ἵνα μου ὑπὸ τὴν στέγην εἰσέλθῃς: ἀλλὰ μόνον εἰπὲ λόγῳ, καὶ ἰαθήσεται ὁ παῖς μου.; — The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
Matthew 8:9: ^CA jah auk ik manna im habands uf waldufnja me inamma gadrauhtins jah qi þ a du þ amma: gagg, jah gaggi þ; jah anþ aramma: qim, jah qimi þ; jah du skalka me inamma: tawe i þ ata, jah tauji þ.; — καὶ γὰρ ἐγὼ ἄνθρωπός εἰμι ὑπὸ ἐξουσίαν, ἔχων ὑπ' ἐμαυτὸν στρατιώτας, καὶ λέγω τούτῳ, πορεύθητι, καὶ πορεύεται, καὶ ἄλλῳ, ἔρχου, καὶ ἔρχεται, καὶ τῷ δούλῳ μου, ποίησον τοῦτο, καὶ ποιεῖ.; — For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
Matthew 8:10: ^CA gahausjands þ an Iesus sildale ikida jah qa þ du þ a im afarla istjandam: amen, qi þ a izwis, ni in Isra ela swalauda galaube in bigat.; — ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς ἐθαύμασεν καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς ἀκολουθοῦσιν, ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, παρ' οὐδενὶ τοσαύτην πίστιν ἐν τῷ ἰσραὴλ εὗρον.; — When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Matthew 8:12: ^CA i þ þ a i sunjus þ iudangardjos uswa irpanda in riqis þ ata hindumisto; ja inar wa irþ i þ grets jah krusts tunþ iwe.; — οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ τῆς βασιλείας ἐκβληθήσονται εἰς τὸ σκότος τὸ ἐξώτερον: ἐκεῖ ἔσται ὁ κλαυθμὸς καὶ ὁ βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων.; — But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
Matthew 8:33: ^CA i þ þ a i haldandans ga þlauhun jah gale i þ andans gata ihun in baurg all bi þ ans da imonarjans.; — οἱ δὲ βόσκοντες ἔφυγον, καὶ ἀπελθόντες εἰς τὴν πόλιν ἀπήγγειλαν πάντα καὶ τὰ τῶν δαιμονιζομένων.; — And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.
Matthew 8:34: ^CA jah sa i, alla so baurgs usiddja wi þra Iesu, jah gasa ihvandans ina bedun e i usli þ i hindar markos ize.; — καὶ ἰδοὺ πᾶσα ἡ πόλις ἐξῆλθεν εἰς ὑπάντησιν τῷ ἰησοῦ, καὶ ἰδόντες αὐτὸν παρεκάλεσαν ὅπως μεταβῇ ἀπὸ τῶν ὁρίων αὐτῶν.; — And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

And he arose, and followed him.

Matthew 9:12: ^CA i þ Iesus gahausjands qa þ du im: ni þ aurbun ha ila i leke is, ak þ a i unha ili habandans.; — ὁ δὲ ἀκούσας εἶπεν, οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν οἱ ἰσχύοντες ἰατροῦ ἀλλ' οἱ κακῶς ἔχοντες.; — But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Matthew 9:13: ^CA Aþ þ an gagga i þ, ganimi þ hva sija i: armaha irti þ a wiljau jah ni hunsl; ni þ~þ an qam la þon uswaurhtans, ak frawaurhtans.; — πορευθέντες δὲ μάθετε τί ἐστιν, ἔλεος θέλω καὶ οὐ θυσίαν: οὐ γὰρ ἦλθον καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλὰ ἁμαρτωλούς.; — But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 9:14: ^CA þ anuh atiddjedun siponjos Iohannes qi þ andans: duhve we is jah Fare isa i e is fastam filu, i þ þ a i siponjos þ e ina i ni fastand?; — τότε προσέρχονται αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ ἰωάννου λέγοντες, διὰ τί ἡμεῖς καὶ οἱ φαρισαῖοι νηστεύομεν [πολλά], οἱ δὲ μαθηταί σου οὐ νηστεύουσιν;; — Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
