— But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.
Corinthians II 2:2
A  unte jabai ik gaurja izwis, jah hvas ist saei gailjai mik, niba sa gaurida us mis?
B  unte jabai ik gaurja izwis, jah hvas ist saei gailjai mik, nibai sa gaurida us mis?
— εἰ γὰρ ἐγὼ λυπῶ ὑμᾶς, καὶ τίς ὁ εὐφραίνων με εἰ μὴ ὁ λυπούμενος ἐξ ἐμοῦ;
— For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?

— And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.
Corinthians II 2:4
A  aþþan us managai aglon jah aggwiþai hairtins gamelida izwis þairh managa tagra, ni þeei saurgaiþ, ak ei frijaþwa kunneiþ þoei haba ufarassau du izwis.

— For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
Corinthians II 2:5
A + B aþþan jabai hvas gaurida, ni mik gaurida, ak bi sum ain, ei ni anakaurjau, allans izwis.

Corinthians II 2:6
A + B ganah þamma swaleikamma andabeit þata fram managizam,
— Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
Corinthians II 2:7
A  swaei þata andaneiþo izwis mais fragiban jag~gaþlaihan, ibai aufto managizein saurgai gasiggqai sa swaleiks.
B  swaei þata andaneiþo izwis mais fragiban jah gaþlaihan, ibai aufto managizein saurgai gasiggqai sa swaleiks.
— So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
Corinthians II 2:8
A  inuþ~þis bidja izwis tulgjan in imma friaþwa.
B  inuh þis bidja izwis tulgjan in imma friaþwa.

Corinthians II 2:9
A + B duþþe gamelida ei ufkunnau kustu izwarana, sijaidu in allamma ufhausjandans.
— For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
Corinthians II 2:10
A  aþþan þammei hva fragibiþ, jah ik; jah þan ik, jabai hva fragaf, fragaf in izwara in andwairþja Xristaus,
B  aþþan þammei hva fragibiþ, jah ik; jah þan ik, jabai hva fragiba, fragiba in izwara in andwairþja Xristaus,
— To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
Corinthians II 2:11
A  ei ni gaaiginondau fram Satanin; unte ni sijum unwitandans munins is.
B  ei ni gaaiginondau fram Satanin; unte ni sijum unwitandans munins is.

— Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Corinthians II 2:12

B  aþþan qimands in Trauadai in aiwaggeljon Xristaus jah at haurdai mis uslukanai in fraujin,
— Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,
Corinthians II 2:13
A  ni habaida gahveilain ahmin meinamma, in þammei ni bigat Teitaun broþar meinana; ak twisstandands im galaiþ in Makaidonja.
B  ni habaida gahveilain ahmin meinamma, in þammei ni bigat Teitaun broþar meinana; ak twistandands imma galaiþ in [in] Makidonja.
— I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.
Corinthians II 2:14
A  aþþan guda awiliuþ þamma sinteino ustaiknjandin hroþeigans uns in Xristau jah daun kunþjis seinis gabairhtjandin þairh uns in allaim stadim;
B  aþþan guda awiliud þamma sinteino ustaiknjandin hroþeigans uns in Xristau jah daun kunþjis seinis gabairhtjandin in allaim stadim þairh uns;

Corinthians II 2:15
A + B unte Xristaus dauns sijum woþi guda in þaim ganisandam jah in þaim fraqistnandam;

A  sumaim dauns us dauþau du dauþau, sumaimuþ~þan dauns us libainai du libainai; jad~du þamma hvas wairþs?
B  sumaim auk dauns dauþaus du dauþau, sumaimuþ~þan dauns us libainai du libainai; jah du þamma hvas wairþs?
— οἷς μὲν ὀσμὴ ἐκ θανάτου εἰς θάνατον, οἷς δὲ ὀσμὴ ἐκ ζωῆς εἰς ζωήν. καὶ πρὸς ταῦτα τίς ἱκανός;
— To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

— For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
