Corinthians I chapter 14

Corinthians I 14:20
A  .... barniskai sijaiþ, ei fraþjam fullaweisai sijaiþ.
— ἀδελφοί, μὴ παιδία γίνεσθε ταῖς φρεσίν, ἀλλὰ τῇ κακίᾳ νηπιάζετε, ταῖς δὲ φρεσὶν τέλειοι γίνεσθε.
— Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.
Corinthians I 14:21

— ἐν τῷ νόμῳ γέγραπται ὅτι ἐν ἑτερογλώσσοις καὶ ἐν χείλεσιν ἑτέρων λαλήσω τῷ λαῷ τούτῳ, καὶ οὐδ' οὕτως εἰσακούσονταί μου, λέγει κύριος.
— In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.
Corinthians I 14:22
A  swaei nu razdos du bandwai sind ni þaim galaubjandam, ak þaim ungalaubjandam; praufetja ni þaim ungalaubjandam, ak þaim galaubjandam.
— ὥστε αἱ γλῶσσαι εἰς σημεῖόν εἰσιν οὐ τοῖς πιστεύουσιν ἀλλὰ τοῖς ἀπίστοις, ἡ δὲ προφητεία οὐ τοῖς ἀπίστοις ἀλλὰ τοῖς πιστεύουσιν.
— Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
Corinthians I 14:23
A  jabai gaqimiþ alla aikklesjo samana jah rodjand razdom allai, atuþ~þan~gaggand inn jah unweisai aiþþau ungalaubjandans, niu qiþand þatei dwalmoþ?
— ἐὰν οὖν συνέλθῃ ἡ ἐκκλησία ὅλη ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ πάντες λαλῶσιν γλώσσαις, εἰσέλθωσιν δὲ ἰδιῶται ἢ ἄπιστοι, οὐκ ἐροῦσιν ὅτι μαίνεσθε;
— If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
Corinthians I 14:24
A   jabai allai praufetjand, innatgaggai hvas ungalaubjands aiþþau unweis, gasakada fram allaim, ussokjada fram allaim,
— ἐὰν δὲ πάντες προφητεύωσιν, εἰσέλθῃ δέ τις ἄπιστος ἢ ἰδιώτης, ἐλέγχεται ὑπὸ πάντων, ἀνακρίνεται ὑπὸ πάντων,
— But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
Corinthians I 14:25
A  þo analaugnjona hairtins is swikunþa wairþand, þanuh driusands ana andawleizn inweitiþ guþ, gateihands þatei bi sunjai guþ in izwis ist.
— τὰ κρυπτὰ τῆς καρδίας αὐτοῦ φανερὰ γίνεται, καὶ οὕτως πεσὼν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον προσκυνήσει τῷ θεῷ, ἀπαγγέλλων ὅτι ὄντως ὁ θεὸς ἐν ὑμῖν ἐστιν.
— And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
Corinthians I 14:26
A  hva nu ist, broþrjus? þan samaþ garinnaiþ, hvarjizuh izwara psalmon habaiþ, laisein habaiþ, andhulein habaiþ, razda habaiþ, skerein habaiþ, allata du timreinai wairþai.
— τί οὖν ἐστιν, ἀδελφοί; ὅταν συνέρχησθε, ἕκαστος ψαλμὸν ἔχει, διδαχὴν ἔχει, ἀποκάλυψιν ἔχει, γλῶσσαν ἔχει, ἑρμηνείαν ἔχει: πάντα πρὸς οἰκοδομὴν γινέσθω.
— How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
Corinthians I 14:27
A  jaþþe razdai hvas rodjai, bi twans aiþþau maist þrins, jah ....
— εἴτε γλώσσῃ τις λαλεῖ, κατὰ δύο ἢ τὸ πλεῖστον τρεῖς, καὶ ἀνὰ μέρος, καὶ εἷς διερμηνευέτω:
— If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
