Romans chapter 14

Romans 14:1
A   unmahteigana galaubeinai andnimaiþ, ni du tweifleinai mitone.
— τὸν δὲ ἀσθενοῦντα τῇ πίστει προσλαμβάνεσθε, μὴ εἰς διακρίσεις διαλογισμῶν.
— Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
Romans 14:2
A  sums raihtis galaubeiþ matjan allata; saei unmahteigs ist, gras matjiþ.
— ὃς μὲν πιστεύει φαγεῖν πάντα, ὁ δὲ ἀσθενῶν λάχανα ἐσθίει.
— For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
Romans 14:3
A  sa matjands þamma ni matjandin ni frakun<n>i, sa ni matjands þana matjandan ni stojai; guþ auk ina andnam.
— ὁ ἐσθίων τὸν μὴ ἐσθίοντα μὴ ἐξουθενείτω, ὁ δὲ μὴ ἐσθίων τὸν ἐσθίοντα μὴ κρινέτω, ὁ θεὸς γὰρ αὐτὸν προσελάβετο.
— Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Romans 14:4
A  þu hvas is, þuei stojis framaþjana skalk? seinamma fraujin standiþ aiþþau driusiþ; aþþan standiþ; mahteigs auk ist frauja gastoþ[an]an ina.
— σὺ τίς εἶ ὁ κρίνων ἀλλότριον οἰκέτην; τῷ ἰδίῳ κυρίῳ στήκει ἢ πίπτει: σταθήσεται δέ, δυνατεῖ γὰρ ὁ κύριος στῆσαι αὐτόν.
— Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
Romans 14:5
A  sums raihtis stojiþ dag hindar daga ....
— ὃς μὲν [γὰρ] κρίνει ἡμέραν παρ' ἡμέραν, ὃς δὲ κρίνει πᾶσαν ἡμέραν: ἕκαστος ἐν τῷ ἰδίῳ νοῒ πληροφορείσθω.
— One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Romans 14:9
Car  .... jah qiwaim jah dauþaim fraujinoþ.
— εἰς τοῦτο γὰρ χριστὸς ἀπέθανεν καὶ ἔζησεν ἵνα καὶ νεκρῶν καὶ ζώντων κυριεύσῃ.
— For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
Romans 14:10
Car   þu, hva stojis broþar þeinana? aiþþau jah þu, hva frakant broþr þeinamma? allai auk gasatjanda faura stauastola Xristaus.
— σὺ δὲ τί κρίνεις τὸν ἀδελφόν σου; ἢ καὶ σὺ τί ἐξουθενεῖς τὸν ἀδελφόν σου; πάντες γὰρ παραστησόμεθα τῷ βήματι τοῦ θεοῦ:
— But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Romans 14:11
Car  gameliþ ist auk: liba ik, qiþiþ frauja, þatei mis all kniwe biugiþ jah andhaitiþ all razdo guda.
— γέγραπται γάρ, ζῶ ἐγώ, λέγει κύριος, ὅτι ἐμοὶ κάμψει πᾶν γόνυ, καὶ πᾶσα γλῶσσα ἐξομολογήσεται τῷ θεῷ.
— For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Romans 14:12
Car  þannu nu hvarjizuh unsara fram sis raþjon usgibiþ guda.
— ἄρα [οὖν] ἕκαστος ἡμῶν περὶ ἑαυτοῦ λόγον δώσει [τῷ θεῷ].
— So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Romans 14:13
Car  ni þanamais nu uns misso stojaima, ak þata stojaiþ mais, ei ni satjaiþ bistugq broþr aiþþau gamarzein.
— μηκέτι οὖν ἀλλήλους κρίνωμεν: ἀλλὰ τοῦτο κρίνατε μᾶλλον, τὸ μὴ τιθέναι πρόσκομμα τῷ ἀδελφῷ ἢ σκάνδαλον.
— Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
Romans 14:14
Car  wait jag~gatraua in fraujin Iesua, þatei ni waiht gawamm þairh sik silbo, niba þamma munandin <hva unhrain wisan>, þamma gamain ist.
— οἶδα καὶ πέπεισμαι ἐν κυρίῳ ἰησοῦ ὅτι οὐδὲν κοινὸν δι' ἑαυτοῦ: εἰ μὴ τῷ λογιζομένῳ τι κοινὸν εἶναι, ἐκείνῳ κοινόν.
— I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
Romans 14:15
Car   jabai in matis broþar þeins gaurjada, ju ni bi friaþwai gaggis. ni nunu mata þeinamma jainamma fraqistjais, faur þanei Xristus gaswalt.
— εἰ γὰρ διὰ βρῶμα ὁ ἀδελφός σου λυπεῖται, οὐκέτι κατὰ ἀγάπην περιπατεῖς. μὴ τῷ βρώματί σου ἐκεῖνον ἀπόλλυε ὑπὲρ οὗ χριστὸς ἀπέθανεν.
— But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
Romans 14:16
Car  ni wajamerjaidau unsar þiuþ.
— μὴ βλασφημείσθω οὖν ὑμῶν τὸ ἀγαθόν.
— Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
Romans 14:17
Car  nist auk þiudangardi gudis mats jah dragk, ak garaihtei jah gawairþi jah faheþs in ahmin weihamma.
— οὐ γάρ ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ βρῶσις καὶ πόσις, ἀλλὰ δικαιοσύνη καὶ εἰρήνη καὶ χαρὰ ἐν πνεύματι ἁγίῳ:
— For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:18
Car  saei auk in þaim skalkinoþ Xristau, waila galeikaiþ guda jah gakusans ist mannam.
— ὁ γὰρ ἐν τούτῳ δουλεύων τῷ χριστῷ εὐάρεστος τῷ θεῷ καὶ δόκιμος τοῖς ἀνθρώποις.
— For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
Romans 14:19
Car  þannu nu þoei gawairþjis sind, laistjaima, jah þoei timreinais sind in uns misso.
— ἄρα οὖν τὰ τῆς εἰρήνης διώκωμεν καὶ τὰ τῆς οἰκοδομῆς τῆς εἰς ἀλλήλους:
— Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Romans 14:20
Car  ni nunu in matis gatair waurstw gudis ....
— μὴ ἕνεκεν βρώματος κατάλυε τὸ ἔργον τοῦ θεοῦ. πάντα μὲν καθαρά, ἀλλὰ κακὸν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τῷ διὰ προσκόμματος ἐσθίοντι.
— For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
