Thessalonians II chapter 2

Thessalonians II 2:1: ^A Aþþan bidjam izwis, broþrjus, in qumis fraujins unsaris Iesuis Xristaus jah gaqumþais unsaraizos du imma,; — ἐρωτῶμεν δὲ ὑμᾶς, ἀδελφοί, ὑπὲρ τῆς παρουσίας τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ καὶ ἡμῶν ἐπισυναγωγῆς ἐπ' αὐτόν,; — Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
Thessalonians II 2:2: ^A du ni sprauto wagjan izwis fram ahin nih drobnan, nih þairh ahman nih þairh waurda nih þairh aipistaulein swe þairh uns, <swe> þatei instandai dags Xristaus.; — εἰς τὸ μὴ ταχέως σαλευθῆναι ὑμᾶς ἀπὸ τοῦ νοὸς μηδὲ θροεῖσθαι μήτε διὰ πνεύματος μήτε διὰ λόγου μήτε δι' ἐπιστολῆς ὡς δι' ἡμῶν, ὡς ὅτι ἐνέστηκεν ἡ ἡμέρα τοῦ κυρίου.; — That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Thessalonians II 2:3: ^A ni hvashun izwis usluto hvamma haidau, unte niba qimiþ afstass faurþis, jah andhulids wairþai manna frawaurhtais, sunus fralustais,; — μή τις ὑμᾶς ἐξαπατήσῃ κατὰ μηδένα τρόπον: ὅτι ἐὰν μὴ ἔλθῃ ἡ ἀποστασία πρῶτον καὶ ἀποκαλυφθῇ ὁ ἄνθρωπος τῆς ἀνομίας, ὁ υἱὸς τῆς ἀπωλείας,; — Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Thessalonians II 2:4: ^A sa andstandands jah ufarhafjands sik ufar all qiþanana guþ aiþþau [allata] blotinassu, swaei <ina> in alh gudis gasitan, s_ ....; — ὁ ἀντικείμενος καὶ ὑπεραιρόμενος ἐπὶ πάντα λεγόμενον θεὸν ἢ σέβασμα, ὥστε αὐτὸν εἰς τὸν ναὸν τοῦ θεοῦ καθίσαι, ἀποδεικνύντα ἑαυτὸν ὅτι ἔστιν θεός.; — Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Thessalonians II 2:15: ^B .... unsaros.; — ἄρα οὖν, ἀδελφοί, στήκετε, καὶ κρατεῖτε τὰς παραδόσεις ἃς ἐδιδάχθητε εἴτε διὰ λόγου εἴτε δι' ἐπιστολῆς ἡμῶν.; — Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
Thessalonians II 2:16: ^B aþþan silba frauja unsar Iesus Xristus jah guþ jah atta unsar saei frijoda uns jah atgaf gaþlaiht aiweina jah wen goda in anstai,; — αὐτὸς δὲ ὁ κύριος ἡμῶν ἰησοῦς χριστὸς καὶ [ὁ] θεὸς ὁ πατὴρ ἡμῶν, ὁ ἀγαπήσας ἡμᾶς καὶ δοὺς παράκλησιν αἰωνίαν καὶ ἐλπίδα ἀγαθὴν ἐν χάριτι,; — Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Thessalonians II 2:17: ^B gaþrafstjai hairtona izwara jah gatulgjai in allaim waurstwam jah waurdam godaim.; — παρακαλέσαι ὑμῶν τὰς καρδίας καὶ στηρίξαι ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ καὶ λόγῳ ἀγαθῷ.; — Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
