He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

John 9:16: ^CA qeþun þan sumai þize Fareisaie: sa manna nist fram guda, þande sabbate daga ni witaiþ. sumaih qeþun: hvaiwa mag manna frawaurhts swaleikos taiknins taujan? jah missaqiss warþ miþ im.; — ἔλεγον οὖν ἐκ τῶν φαρισαίων τινές, οὐκ ἔστιν οὗτος παρὰ θεοῦ ὁ ἄνθρωπος, ὅτι τὸ σάββατον οὐ τηρεῖ. ἄλλοι [δὲ] ἔλεγον, πῶς δύναται ἄνθρωπος ἁμαρτωλὸς τοιαῦτα σημεῖα ποιεῖν; καὶ σχίσμα ἦν ἐν αὐτοῖς.; — Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
John 9:24: ^CA atwopidedun þan anþaramma sinþa þana mannan saei was blinds, jah qeþun du imma: gif hauhein guda! weis witum þatei sa manna frawaurhts ist.; — ἐφώνησαν οὖν τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἐκ δευτέρου ὃς ἦν τυφλὸς καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ, δὸς δόξαν τῷ θεῷ: ἡμεῖς οἴδαμεν ὅτι οὗτος ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἁμαρτωλός ἐστιν.; — Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Go not from house to house.

And they were offended at him.
Mark 8:8: ^CA gamatidedun þan jah sadai waurþun; jah usnemun laibos gabruko sibun spwreidans.; — καὶ ἔφαγον καὶ ἐχορτάσθησαν, καὶ ἦραν περισσεύματα κλασμάτων ἑπτὰ σπυρίδας.; — So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.
Mark 8:20: ^CA aþþan þan þans sibun hlaibans fidwor þusundjom, hvan managans spwreidans fullans gabruko usnemuþ? iþ eis qeþun: sibun.; — ὅτε τοὺς ἑπτὰ εἰς τοὺς τετρακισχιλίους, πόσων σπυρίδων πληρώματα κλασμάτων ἤρατε; καὶ λέγουσιν [αὐτῷ], ἑπτά.; — And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
Mark 9:27: ^CA iþ Iesus undgreipands ina bi handau urraisida ina; jah usstoþ.; — ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς κρατήσας τῆς χειρὸς αὐτοῦ ἤγειρεν αὐτόν, καὶ ἀνέστη.; — But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.
Mark 12:2: ^CA jah insandida du þaim waurstwjam at mel skalk, ei at þaim waurstwjam nemi akranis þis weinagardis.; — καὶ ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς τοὺς γεωργοὺς τῷ καιρῷ δοῦλον, ἵνα παρὰ τῶν γεωργῶν λάβῃ ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος:; — And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.
Mark 12:7: ^CA iþ jainai þai waurstwjans qeþun du sis misso þatei sa ist sa arbinumja; hirjiþ, usqimam imma, jah unsar wairþiþ þata arbi.; — ἐκεῖνοι δὲ οἱ γεωργοὶ πρὸς ἑαυτοὺς εἶπαν ὅτι οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ κληρονόμος: δεῦτε ἀποκτείνωμεν αὐτόν, καὶ ἡμῶν ἔσται ἡ κληρονομία.; — But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be our's.
Mark 12:8: ^CA jah undgreipandans ina usqemun jah uswaurpun imma ut us þamma weinagarda.; — καὶ λαβόντες ἀπέκτειναν αὐτόν, καὶ ἐξέβαλον αὐτὸν ἔξω τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος.; — And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
Mark 12:9: ^CA hva nuh taujai frauja þis weinagardis? qimiþ jah usqisteiþ þans waurstwjans jah gibiþ þana weinagard anþaraim.; — τί [οὖν] ποιήσει ὁ κύριος τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος; ἐλεύσεται καὶ ἀπολέσει τοὺς γεωργούς, καὶ δώσει τὸν ἀμπελῶνα ἄλλοις.; — What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
Mark 12:12: ^CA jah sokidedun ina undgreipan jah ohtedun þo managein; froþun auk þatei du im þo gajukon qaþ. jah afletandans ina galiþun.; — καὶ ἐζήτουν αὐτὸν κρατῆσαι, καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν τὸν ὄχλον, ἔγνωσαν γὰρ ὅτι πρὸς αὐτοὺς τὴν παραβολὴν εἶπεν. καὶ ἀφέντες αὐτὸν ἀπῆλθον.; — And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
Mark 14:5: ^CA maht wesi auk þata balsan frabugjan in managizo þau þrija hunda skatte jah giban unledaim. jah andstaurraidedun þo.; — ἠδύνατο γὰρ τοῦτο τὸ μύρον πραθῆναι ἐπάνω δηναρίων τριακοσίων καὶ δοθῆναι τοῖς πτωχοῖς: καὶ ἐνεβριμῶντο αὐτῇ.; — For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.
Mark 14:6: ^CA iþ Iesus qaþ: letiþ þo; duhve izai usþriutiþ? þannu goþ waurstw waurhta bi mis.; — ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν, ἄφετε αὐτήν: τί αὐτῇ κόπους παρέχετε; καλὸν ἔργον ἠργάσατο ἐν ἐμοί.; — And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.
Mark 14:46: ^CA iþ eis uslagidedun handuns ana ina jah undgripun ina.; — οἱ δὲ ἐπέβαλον τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῷ καὶ ἐκράτησαν αὐτόν.; — And they laid their hands on him, and took him.
Mark 14:63: ^CA iþ sa auhumista gudja disskreitands wastjos seinos qaþ: hva þanamais þaurbum weis weitwode?; — ὁ δὲ ἀρχιερεὺς διαρρήξας τοὺς χιτῶνας αὐτοῦ λέγει, τί ἔτι χρείαν ἔχομεν μαρτύρων;; — Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
Mark 15:21: ^CA jah undgripun sumana manne, Seimona Kwreinaiu, qimandan af akra, attan Alaiksandraus jah Rufaus, ei nemi galgan is.; — καὶ ἀγγαρεύουσιν παράγοντά τινα σίμωνα κυρηναῖον ἐρχόμενον ἀπ' ἀγροῦ, τὸν πατέρα ἀλεξάνδρου καὶ ῥούφου, ἵνα ἄρῃ τὸν σταυρὸν αὐτοῦ.; — And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.
Mark 15:23: ^CA jah gebun imma drigkan wein miþ smwrna; iþ is ni nam.; — καὶ ἐδίδουν αὐτῷ ἐσμυρνισμένον οἶνον, ὃς δὲ οὐκ ἔλαβεν.; — And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.
Mark 15:38: ^CA jah faur[a]hah als disskritnoda in twa iupaþro und dalaþ.; — καὶ τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ ἐσχίσθη εἰς δύο ἀπ' ἄνωθεν ἕως κάτω.; — And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
